Soz for the slow build thread, ive been working a bit lately, but heres a little update for now, ive just bought a new battery because the original one was well gone. I have also booked it in for a service before the new years.
I drove up to Whangarei a couple of weeks ago and absolutly destroyed the exhuast so im getting my local exhuast specialists to fabricate me a new one, so ill post some pics of that after next thursday.
I also recently purchased some adjustable camber arms, i managed to get one in just before it started raining the other day, but im going to take the shuttle to my mates garage tonight to chuck in the other one and get as much negitive camber as i can.. should be a bit of a laugh, ill post some pics of that too.
Ive also told santa that I wanted some roof racks for Christmas haha, so im going to pick them up soon and he can reimburse me on a later date
Make sure you put them in with the highest point facing down (if you look at one it will make sense I hope). When the alignment shop installed mine they did them the other way around and over big bumps the smash into the body of the car
Im getting some extended top hats made, 30mm for the front and 25mm for the rear. Thats the most i can do with my adjusties.. but every millimeter counts
The only thing is that it will limit the travel of the shock..
Im thinking that i will only use the new top hats for show, and just run the stock ones that came with my suspension daily.
I think the camber is baller! Just keep a close eye on those tires haha. A friend of mine was running 15x8 0 offset on his EK sedan dumped as hell and -9.6 degrees of camber. Ended up blowing out both rear tires. Safe to say that was not a good day.
So, was that about a week after he installed new tires. lol?
When will this stupid fad die.
Car looks great otherwise.
Thanks haha, Ive got camber still maxed on the front, but i set the rear back to very minimal camber.
I have gotten tired of the camber, as sick as it looks (personal opinion haha) but I've had pretty much every reaction from onlookers, both good and bad haha.
Ill definitely crank the negative camber to the max for show haha.
My top hats should hopefully be done by the end of today, pretty excited for more low!
I do like the look of the wheels brought out to the fender with a touch of camber...and low enough that the car looks aggressive.
Lowering tot he point of scraping and bottoming out the suspension kills any performance advantage...and it really makes the thing uncomfortable to drive.
I don't know... I'm just getting old. ...and turn down that loud rap music! :P
Your not gettin old the hole stanced thing is getting old. A nice wheel with a good lip and tiny bit of camber and a good dump is badass. Kids these days just over do it and ennd up fuckin up there car....And gettin older also helps hahaha

I put adjustable camber arms in the rear and maxed out the negative camber.
I went to the good guys at the roof rack shop on the north shore and they chucked on some roof racks.
I also replaced 2 doors as they were dented beyond repair, well from how much it was going to cost they were unrepairable
Im also saving all of my $$$ so i can get it painted, i was thinking a gunmetal gray.. but ill see whats available for my budget.
Sweet as, it would be mean to catch up with everyone with a shuttle.

I just want to go lower
Haha i think its not so much the suspension that would hinder performance advantage, its more the bone stock d15b
Lol it was like 8 months later, daily driving the car about 40+ miles every day. People these days.... no respect I swear.
First picture from when i lowered it the second time.
