All things happen for a reason 88 RT Build, Updated Jan 11th

Well some of you know I own a business restoring and customizing Rods and Customs, I just had knee surgery so taking a break from customer cars, and get to play with mine a little, while all doped up on pain pills gimpin around my shop.

I had a build thread on here before of my other wagon

I bought took the swap out and ran around all motor on a single zc for a bit
Bought a JRSC, went to buy head studs and on my way home to install the SC this happened

I was the cabous of a 3 car pile up on the middle of Tacoma Narrows bridge. It was a Sad Day, and I hit so hard I bent the Frame Rail.
But at home I has a tired 88 Rt I bought for a winter beater.
And then I was out 4 bying with my redneck buddies and decided after a few beers, shit the wagon can do that too, lol well it did, but I banged up pretty much all 4 doors, and fenders, bangin them off trees. lol but it was a hell of a time, any boy did the ol wagon get some new respect from and unsuspecting crowd.

So now I've decided to swap all my drive train over from my wrecked 2wd to my rt, and all the good body parts and clean interior so here we go. This is day one.

Basically going to build a kick ass, comfortable inside, power under the hood, lsd in the rear, daily driver. And I will prob go find some snow and mud to play in as soon as its together =)

All the old interior out, old motor is out, and all the front components are out. Fresh coat of undercoating for the front wheel wells. I have my koni adjustable and skunk2 coilovers with custom rear coil concept 700lb rear springs from my other wagon that will be going in. Along with new everything, balljoints, wheel bearings, tierods, drilled slotted rotors, and ebc pads.

Removed all the interior and I will be dynamating the whole inside including roof.

This will be the new heart of the beast

Also to be install I have an lsd rear diff, brown rear speaker pods and center arm rest, and the jdm tails of my wrecked one.

All try to keep this updated as I go.

Enjoy

Fresh undercoating all the way back to the rear diff and tank so far, and motor in. Had to remove the ps and put my manual rack in out of my wrecked 2wd. With the JRSC there was pretty much no clearance for ps lines, and I was going to have to find a ribbed ps pump, so o well. More to come tomorrow!

what a day went to install my lsd rear diff and do the rear diff mod, and broke my urathante topmount piece, so have to find another one of those tomorrow. And went to install my ebc brake pads, and they are not the right pads in the box. right box wrong pads.

On a good note, rest of the car is undercoated, fresh and clean.
New uper control arms, new upper and lower ball joints, new wheel bearing, new wheel studs, new tierod ends, yada yada yada, all installed.

Sad part is back to work on customer cars for the next week or so, gone have to set this aside for a bit.

Heres some pics of all the clean and new. =)
