Replaced the crank seal and tweaked the sump gasket to stop that weeping. Got the water pump out and will pick up a new one tomorrow. The timing belt has been changed at some point but the water pump was original so i'm glad its being changed. all oging well It'll be done tomorrow/tuesday then just need to fill it up with petrol and head down to taupo for nimm!
timing belt side of things is done. The last person who did it timed it up wrong, fixed that and now its runnig but crap. Few more things to sort out. Currently got a migrane so time for bed. Will deal with the car tomorrow
After a bit of thinking and research and a clear head it turns out the cam gear marks do NOT line up horizontally but align with a mark in the head. My bad... Will be fixing it now
Timing is all sorted and its stopped leaking oil too which is good. (maybe its run out, I'd better check it). Stole the crv wing off the silver shuttle and put a bra on it too. No pics yes but will get some soon.
The mounts are for my silver shuttle, will fit them in the next few weeks.
A bit of a sad update today. Shuttle went to a new home tonight so hopefully there will be a new member, and the turbo kit is going to another user on here so keep a eye out:P
