  • Thanks for the positive comments guys, always good when the love is shared :)

Not alot new has happened in the last year, unless you count the kms on the clock haha. Another couple months and I'll get going again, for now I'm just trying to presurve him
  • Havn't updated this for a while :o

Gremlins are running riot atm, back to the ecu light issues. If anyone has ideas on how to win the battle with limp mode I'm all ears for suggestions

What fault codes are you getting?
  • Convert to OBD1?
  • 90% of the time I get a solid light, the other 10% shows 68 which isn't a code..

I've been thinking its something in my ecu fucking out. Happens round this time of year oct-dec(spring), which lead me to believe it was a humidity issue but it hasn't been that humid lately nor has it rained much. It's honestly random, I've come up with all sorts of scenarios to explain it but so far none have stood to prove it. Right now i'm working off the theory that its cos the last time I put gas in him I accidentally let the pump stop on 13 litres (i have a perfectly logical reason to be paranoid about the number 13 when it comes to Frank).

Conversion at this point is not ideal, its still in the seriously considering pile tho

Update: Left everything unplugged for a couple of hours then hooked it up, checked all earths and connections, sprayed some degreeser around the crap build up in the engine bay. Fired up sweet as so put some synergy 98 in, coincidentally lucky as i stopped at the pump the clock rolled over to 777. Fired again fine and let me brave a drive thru so I could eat too :) Will see if he makes it across town this arvo...
  • While i'm at it might as well put up some recent shots :)
