91' Wago build...boost inside (someday)!

I just picked up another project car and thought I'd share my progress since my last build came to a tragic end before it was completed.
She's a 1991 Civic Wagon DX 5 spd. It had a blown engine but the body is as straight as they come. Clean title, zero rust, zero bondo, and only mild dings/scratches here and there. Paid $300 for it. My plans are to swap in a JDM D15B and boost it.
Besides boost, plans include suspension upgrades, wire tuck/battery relocation, paint-match bumpers, and a mild sound system.
Enough yapping...here's some eye candy.

    Looks like it should be a fun project.
    Shell looks reasonably rust free and not too badly beat up...

    I like the body, it looks in good condition compared to the other rust buckets out there. I really envy on how some of you guys get the deals on these cars, I can't find anything around my area for 300 dollars. I have some guys here selling theirs for about 2,500 +, a bunch of rust buckets.

    I searched high and low for a clean shell and came across this one. Couldn't be happier. It was exactly what I wanted. 1991, white, 100% virgin and zero rust or bondo. The rear bumper was slightly hit in a fender bender but I was able to put it back into place easily.

    I lucked out on this one. I found it on CL locally (while at work) but the seller didn't have any pictures. I decided to call and ended up talking cars with the owner for about 15 mins. I talked him into coming to my work for a couple of free beers (I'm a bartender) and he waited for me until I got off work. Followed him home, I took one look at his wagon and it was love at first sight. Oh, and I also talked him down to $300 from $800 haha.

    Interior is pretty mint besides this funky stain. Also, the seats have the typical bolster wear.

    Lovin this build, saw your build thread on H-T I think you have more pics there, you have a dope parts list and a great choice of wheels cant go wrong with Enkie 92's on a wagon, cant wait too see this thing go turbo!

    As soon as I found out Enkei was re-releasing the 92's this year, I knew they were the wheels for me. I've always loved em.

    Along with the obvious fluids, I'm replacing the timing belt, water pump. fuel filter, pcv valve and valve cover gaskets. Everything looked to be in great shape on this motor but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

    The motor mounts were pretty beat up so I'm using some Energy Suspension inserts temporarily. (Props to Ben)

    Believe it or not just some "simple green" type cleaner from the 99 cent store...and a brush.

    Went ahead and put the new motor back in but then this happened...

    Turns out the fuel return line from the motor is smaller in diameter than the stock one so fuel escaped because the clamp wasnt on tight and eventually caught fire on the alternator.
    No worries though, nothing got damaged haha

    With the fuel line situation handled, the motor started up on the first try and ran like a champ, idled perfectly and best of all no CEL's.

    There was a faint ticking noise which we thought was coming from the head so we went ahead and did a valve adjustment.

    Turns out the ticking was coming from the trans/cluch and eventually went away after a few minutes.

    Lol, on the gas thing. Good thing you caught it in time. As for the trans noise mine did the same thing for a few miles then it went away, transmission had been dry for a while so it needed to be run a little. BTW you do live in vegas? Do you know a guy named wagon mike?
