my new awd build yay!

Well heres my newest wago bought this about 2 weeks ago. orginal montana car. so no factory ac. but came with some new bridgestone blizzaks for winter.

right after i got it home. has some rust on rear qtr otherwise pretty good shape.

Pulled this off my wrecked awd that i traded a auto wagon for.

rear end gone and pic of the cancer

rear end installed and diff bolted up. had to drill throught body and use some licking nuts and washers worked out great.

went ahead and pulled everything. was gonna leave dpfi. but i had a z6 laying around.

z6 setting in. still got driveshaft to mount and tranny to install.

more pics to come working on wiring tomorrow along with bolting up the tranny. then making some brackets or something for the coupler. if ayone has pics of this installed on non awd wagon that be would great to see how you all did it. thanks looking.

    still wish i had my grey FWD auto wagon. wanted to do the same swap but got an offer i couldnt turn down. post pics of the driveline mount that ya make that was always my concern with mine.

    which are talking about. i just sold my ls wagon. i traded a auto dx for my wrecked awd that pulled everything from lol

    ok just read some stuff that might cause me some problems. i didnt realize that the awd's have a intermediate shaft. i do not have one so will my reg dx axles work til i get an intermediate shaft? which one can i use?

    that shaft should of been on the back of the donor RT trans....

    motor was gone out of mine. id say they sold it with the motor

    motor and trans installed just got finish up wiring tomorrow. then axles and maybe start on the driveshaft

    question need to no asap i used my 90 2wd clutch and flywheel on my z6 awd. my starter will not fit right any info on why this is?????????

    i thought d-series staters were the same from 88-00....

    I believe you have to use the starter that is matched with the tranny, not the engine.

    update: i had to use a newer starter the old dx one would not clear for some reason. threw one on from a 95 dx worked perfect.

    as of now everything is mounted up axles in. got the intermediate from arkansas. still have driveshaft to mount.still have to run vtec. do i have use a 4 wire o2? trying to find a good diagram for wiring vtec but haventseen one yet.

  • update: been busy with my new job. getting this aligned tomorrow then tuned in a few weeks. heres a under shot with the exhaust. not much room for exhaust. gonna be checking out to see how much for one piece driveshaft at local fab shop also.

    have a problem. car cuts out when i remotely get on it. stalls have to let off gas then press again? any ideas. ive replaced vtec solenoid dizzy got check iacv...

    sounds liek you have a sensor crossed or broken maybe tps or map

    Well little update going along with the master scrappy lol. Picked up the accord and da suspect yesterday along with the rear sway for install this week sometime

    wagon is coming along nicely, looking forward to photos of it being lifted!

    No clue yet gonna run on my 13s with blizzaks for now til I find something
  • im running 205/60/15's and i dont rub anywhere....im going to pick up some 215/65/15 winterforce tires and see how they are with out any modifications to the chassis.
  • ami wrong or are your speaker pods installed backwards?
