My '91 Civic Wagon *Brownie* Build!

So I had a wagon as my first car, and I was young about 15. I didn't know much about cars and it was giving me lots of problems so my mom made me sell it. I went on to have a crx, eg hatch, and finally now I'm back where my heart belongs, to an EE wagon! Found this one in Miami for $900, running great, original paint, just no a/c :evil:

    Lol thank you yes it's a very clean body thank god I got lucky! I'm currently out of the country on vacation, I will be back in the u.s on thursday and will update this build with many pictures as soon as I can!!

    Here are a bunch of snaps I took, fully stock, just changed the 13" steelies to 14" and painted them black. Took off the bumper just now and mounting on some temporary fog lights with a 3k h.i.d kit I ordered ;) I will update this as I keep making changes!

    Damn havent been on here for a while................................. Been going through LOTS of stuff and problems you know been real busy................................ Motor took a sh*t on me, so I started building a d16z6 slowly and I finally swapped it in, but now the car turns on, but wont stay on gota check everything over and see whats up................. I'll update with pics later

    Finally back on here. Found out the d16z6 swap I tgrew in had messed up bearings so tomorrow im going to finish taking out the motor to fix it up again and get my wagon running asap! Ill keep this updated when ever I get the chance.


    p.s. Also had some trouble converting all the wiring to obd1 from obd0, if anyone now a lot about that stuff, all help will be gladly appreciated.

    Its been raining every single day so I havent had the chance to work on my car :( all I need to do is remove the axles andmotor mounts and the motors out, and ready for inspection. Ill update this as I make progress.

    finally after so many miserable months, about a month ago now, i finally finished building my single cam and dropped it in my wagon... im real sleepy right now, so ill post all the details and pictures tomorrow.


    p.s. i dont own a camera anymore because i sold it to get the money to finish up my car.. going to try and see if i can use another one from a friend or something

    okay lets do this little by little, ill show you guys what ive done so far.....

    took off my door panels, and fixed the two front windows because they didnt go down or up. picked up some new regulators at a local junkyard and now they work like butter all around.






    also i gutted out the car, come to find out there was roaches and ants all over the inside of my car under the carpets and seats.... took care of all that, and left the car with no carpet i think it looks a bit better like this..

    Now engine wise, I fully built a d16z6 block from bottom to top. Everything was machine polished, resurfaced, fully balanced EVERYTHING, brand new low compression pistons, golden eagle rods, bearrings, rear main seal, water pump, oil pump, timing belt, cam gear, head gasket, oil pan gasket, every single thing you can name under my hood is all new. The head is also within the same mods range... Here is a pic of my block when i got it back from the machine shop===

    Now whats holding me back is that my clutch cable bolt snapped, and i have to wait 5 to 10 days for it to come in the mail.. such a buzzkill but hey guess i got to wait on it, it was a special order.


    i tried a crx Si clutch cable, it looked identical to it but it just wouldnt work. i guess the clutch cable for the wagons is very specific..

    Yes its already in. I had a full greddy kit with a bisimoto topmount, but things came up and I had to sell em. So for now I'm looking for a basic kit, and an a/c friendly manifold. My motor is fully built for boost so I should be okay.

    Yea that motor looks pretty stout. I have a full greddy kit on my EK it was around 5psi ran pretty good, had some fun with it. Now im looking to find a beat Z6 for a rebuild. You should pick up a GT28, the response on those is amazing and you can still make 300whp.

    So my clutch cable finally came in on thursday and my car was running fine, going back into gear and all... But another problem now came up -__-


    The ecu is obviously obd1.. I was at a drive thru getting food when suddenly my car shut off and didnt want to turn back on. The check engine light does not show up at all for some reason, and before it did.... I'm wondering why this is happeneing? Please help me out if you can..........Thanks!

    Check grounds. Serious to. Mine were bad. Also what offset u running on wheels. Love them
