89 b18a FWD wagon UPDATE

so I dont even officialy own the car yet (not till monday) but already have plans for it and here is a little taste of how it will look with the help of some photoshoping.. not the best but you definately get the idea.
soo there is a bit of a rust issue, after i grind out, and treat the metal left, i plan on filling it all in with body filler and maybe some fiberglass for structure, then sand and smooth out. sand the whole bottom half of the car including bumper and also even a margin following around the rear wheel wells because there is rust there and it will need to be covered. Then going towards the back of the car straight under the tail lights and covering the rear panel too also has a little rust spot.
anyway heres the rust situation

heres a side/rear shot of the car as it is right now or very close to at least (i know its not the side with the rust... but whatever you get the idea itl be done on both anyway)

then heres what it will look like after im done (also added tint to the windows as it is going to happen aswell)

heres the front/side as it is right now kinda (prev owner did a rust treatment to the hood intentionaly for the look, personaly not a fan dosnt go with my plans.. also that treatment isnt shown in this picture)

and here is what it will look like from the front, also painting the hood black instead of leaving it rusty

and thats the exterior plan for now. might have some slight changes, thinking about adding a green accent pin stripe around the 2 tone and if i went that route also a green pin stripe on the rims, and if that were the case green valve cover and maybe other things under the hood aswell.
tell me what you guys think

and heres with the body stripe also, i know, i know pretty shitty job on the mock up for it but u get the idea and i dont much like it anyway..
leme know what ya think
heres what the wheel looks like with the regular grant horn
and heres the newly painted up horn..
unfortunately I dont even have the car yet to see what it looks like as one, but maybe ill be bored enough to photoshop it in or somthin haha
here it is
I think it looks pretty damn sick, much better than the black grant horn
painted hood
removed the stickers, grinded off, treated, and sealed the bit of rust
that woodgrain wheel didnt come with the car, so i picked up a 13.5" chrome gt wheel, also accidently broke the shifter shaft trying to get the knob off and broke it right at the point where there are no threads now, and it starts to tapper so it can not be re threaded... sooo had an idea, grabbed a golf ball drilled a hole in it and slammed it down on the shaft, works like a charm, dosnt move at all.
fiber glass rust patching, not the cleanest work, but hey it was my first time doin it, and its good enough for me.
painted my calipers and drums
re painted the mirrors, had some time to kill
replaced the tail light, and reshaped the metal underneath it enough to please me
also repainted the spoiler that came with the car, odly enough it is actualy a honda spoiledr, and the main reason i even put it back on was to cover the drilled holes that were left behind when it was mounted.
lol not even close to low enough, need some smaller rims and low pro tires so i can slam it, tons of room to adjust on the coilovers
after re painting the entire bottom half
just a shot of the coilovers and control arm
and heres where all the rust damage was. grinded down, treated, sealed, and fiber glass patched, then painted over, alot less noticeable now.
spare valve cover painted it red, got it all ready for the new valve cover gasket
new gasket installed, and fresh valve cover installed aswell, painted the distributor cap too just for fun
and thats what ive gotten done so far since i got it home. plans for the near future are tint, better rims and tires, and probably some interior fabric patching.
heres the rims as they were when i picked them up at 8pm today
woo these got a lip too lovin that!
and heres what they look like now after i sanded, primed, and painted em flat black! look kick ass cant wait till tommorow to put em on and lower the car a few more inches
I neeed front and rear camber kits now after dropin the car, a little tooo much camber
thats it for now, going autocrossing tommorow for the first time ever, very excited. will post pics and possibly video inside and outside the car.

removed spoiler, debaged except the H, painted the rest of the hatch black.
not in the nicest state for pictures since its pretty dirty and theres like 100 dead bugs on the front lol
new muffler, cut and fitted up, made a flange to bolt up to exsisting flange, welded it together, made a hanger, fits, and sounds nice
