thanks everyone. im trying to get some of the body work done here pretty soon. one of my friends is a painter so im trying to get him to spray it with a flat automotive black w/ uv protection instead of this rattle can crap. but i have a lot of rust repair to do first.
hmmm, idk. but its pretty fast.
my o2 is reading stock style fuel trims, in cruse, open loop. so im assuming if i keep my foot out of it (i dont) id be getting around stock z6 millage
i have a neptune rtp, so i run per gear boost. 1 bar in 1st and 2nd and 20 psi 3rd-5th. as far as hp/tq i havent dyno'd it yet. our local dyno is busted right now so i dont know when ill have those numbers. tryin to lite a fire under someone over there so we'll see
thats one clean wagon u got here... my wifes from RI and i ask my brother in law if there was wagons there but he said he never seen one... but yea... looking great...
ah spring is finally coming back around... lil late but whatever. there is no better time to put on summer wheels. and new mud flaps, and tint while im at it i also found some time to make a new intake, the one pictured was just to get the car down the road. im using an aem brute force filter for a tundra, its HUGE pics soon on that one.
lol when i bought it it was blue, black, white, and 3 different shades of red (i think some house paint was involved) of the 6 colors i liked the black best
yeah sure! we're having a meet at the shop on may 1st, it starts around noon. free food, music, cars, and good people! everyone is welcome to come down and check it out.
Looks bad-ass "flat black?" from the front, just saying.
thanks, the whole car is actually flat black but i got a bad can of paint that was a lil more "flat" than the rest, when i did the hood and fenders. sucks but im redoing the body work then getting a good paint job
Any reason why you didnt do a bellmouth for that turbo when fabbing the dp? Was just curious, cause its obvious you have the talent to do so.
thanks but, there is no wastegate in the turbo. its meant for external gate only. the turbo has a 2.5" round 4-bolt outlet for the exhaust so there is no need for a bellmouth or place to put one
couple recent pics from our spring meet. with some new do-dads added on the car, proper intake w/ aem brute force filter, oil cooler kit, vented valve cover. still working on getting a set of 850cc injectors and making a swirl-pot w/ secondary fuel pump. that and a couple suspension tweaks and ill be good to go for the next local track day i cant wait, and there will be vids and dyno slips soon. just went to an open house at a dsm shop w/ a 4wd dyno so we'll see if i can get down there asap and try to make some more power.
just got some new goodies all welded and installed. i was having fuel starvation issues under hard cornering, so we made a surge tank with an additional walbro 255 inline pump. also had to relocate the catch can, so i made a nicer one with a bigger filter.
surge tank, fuel pump and filter all lined up
side benefit of it looking kinda cool is it works too
