Bretrutans 89 civic wagon

I wish I would've taken more pictures of the car when I first bought it.

I've become quite a professional spray painter. I've sprayed the following items:
Amber turning lamps
Door Molding
Side Skirts
Some of the window trim
94 integra console and arm rest (viewtopic.php?f=9&t=11351)
Air vents in the dash
I plan on spraying the front and rear bumper eventually

When I bought the car the clear coat had completely failed on the hood and the roof. I have a buddy who has a paint booth at his house and we sprayed the hood, it turned out nice. I also installed a cargo cover from a 90's model Explorer, such an easy install .

PLEASE READ REGUARDING GODSPEED COILOVERS
I don't have anything bad YET to say about how they perform, but upon receiving them I noticed a big oil stain in the bottom of the box. I opened them up to find that one of the coilovers had leaked every bit of fluid out of it. I contacted the Ebay seller, who told me to send it back and they will replace it. I sent it back the same day, it has been a month and I am still out one coilover.

For the future :
Lower the car on Godspeeds
Have some prime 250s (bbs reps) that I am in the process of re doing
Re spray the roof and roof rack
Install my volvo lip

Enjoy :)

Thanks for the kind words. The rims will either be painted black or gold. I'm leaning more towards gold.

What color do you guys think I should do the rims?

Cargo cover looks really good. I think gold would look great on the color you have now.

I have read a few places that people believe that the Godspeed SS style coilover doesn't ride very well. I found that to be true if you slap them on and don't do any adjusting. After making about an hours worth of adjustments the car has VERY good ride quality. I am meticulous about a lot of things, and the suspension rides GOOD :)

Added a volvo lip on the front and rear. Just need to get my rims refurbished and I'll be complete. Well, I'm also going to do something different with the exhaust, just don't know yet.

    Enjoy.

Thanks man. I got the volvo lip from a pull a part for 4 bucks. They are a dime a dozen there. You can't miss them, they are off a 90's model Volvo.

    How to install Volvo Lip.
The lip itself is about 1 inch short from fitting perfectly. So, I just split the difference and if you look close enough in the pictures you can see that the lip doesn't line up EXACTLY on both sides, but from 3 feet you can't tell. I'm happy with it.

Once you have the lip where you want it, get some hefty screws. I have a giant pile of automotive fasteners so I just made do with what I had. I jacked the front of the car up, and my father held the lip in place while I drilled. Once the lip was where I wanted it, I marked off the excess on the passenger and drivers side. I then used some heavy duty saw we have to give it a clean cut.

It's very easy, anyone can do this mod :)

Found some OEM Beauty rings at the local pull a part. Cleaned them up, then painted my steelies.
