Realized I havent posted pics in a while!
Heres a good one.
On a very sad but somehow awesome note, Jen sold her supra, and I sold my evo... On the same day
the good news is we can throw a lot more money at the wagos now that we are Not paying a ton in insurance and a car payment! The evo cost almost 800 every month in payments and insurance+gas!

You take the good, you take the bad. You take them both and there you have. The facts of life. LOL
At least your saving money.
Agree. Doing a rebuild of my new d16z6. going to drop it in over the memorial day weekend. I have PG6 pistons for it, but I am going to smog the car and throw those at it later on. also, anybody have tricks to passing smog? both cars failed on hydrocarbons
Got new shoes on the old school wheels form the gold wagon. Moved them to the white wagon. Raised the white wagon up an inch, and replaced the compressor and condensor in the white wagon. Got the r-134 Retrofit kit and charged the system. I HAS COLD AIR!
Jen pulled the head and the oil pan on the Z6 to inspect its condition. Looks great!
Z6 is installed and runs like a champ!! Holy crap does this feel better than the stock d15b2 that was dead! Jen tore down the B2 and it smells like burning and looks like it was dumped in the ocean for a few years. We have put about 15k miles on this motor since buying that car. Wagon has 192XXX miles, and the stock motor had a knock so it was time for a swap. I am very Impressed with the Z6 and automatic combo.
We had a CEL for automatic lock up control solenoid. went to the junk yard and removed the dual solenoid from a 92-95 auto civic and bolted it upside down under the back of the motor with pin A17 running to it and pin A19 running to my installed single solenoid. OBD0 auto tranny runs perfect with the obd1 engine and ecu. Wago was having an issue with losing coolant that ended up being a bad thermostat in the Z6. Also, we got the old motor out and the new motor in without discharging the AC system. It took a little longer to move the engine around the lines but it was better than breaking it all back down again.
We are going on a 6 day road trip on wednesday and I'm sure we will have a lot of pics when we get back!
Got the Z6 Bar'd yesterday! Havent updated in a while. I'm at the point where I dont really know what I want to work on next... exterior, interior, engine???
oh well, here's a few pics anyway.
Got a pretty good update this time!
picked up a cb7 armrest, and blue speaker pods recently.
I got my d16z6 bar'd so now I can install some stuff I've had laying around.
4-2-1 header for now, later a set of PG6 pistons on z6 rods, and a nitrous express wet kit set up with lots of extras.
I'M IN JAPAN.
A buddy is babysitting my wago for 3 years, but as i get cool stuff, he'll be installing. hope to have some cool stuff to show you all every now and then!
