Installed a set of CRX seats last week.

Plans for the future include turboing a SOHC VTEC motor, some 15x9s, an S2000 cluster swap and some tint.

    Lets see some pics!

The thing I'm most interested in, is the allignment with the door panels.

Re-read that. My bad on the wording. In my mind dash = cluster.

Not the entire dashboard of the car.

    Definitely not the same thing.

Seen many a cluster swaps... I would love to someday.
  • I've got an s2k cluster in my eg. Super cool but took alot of soldering! lol! And a speedohealer.
    I love those CRX seats!

Thanks. I really like what you did with your wagon. Especially the 86-89 Accord front lip.

If anyone runs across one, let me know. None of the yards around here have one.
  • I love that suspension drop and I agree with everyone else... damn sexy wheels!!!
  • Oh I forgot to ask, direct bolt in for the rex seats? change the rails?

I believe it takes a rail swap to fit em
  • 88/89 rails do not fit 90/91 cars with the auto belts. For 90/91 cars you have to swap seat pans.

Even in 88/89 cars, CRX seats do not have the same bolt pattern as Wagon seats so you have to elongate the holes in the wagon rails. (all these ?s have been answered in the CRX seat thread BTW)
  • like the subject. that great.
  • updates???
  • Nothing super exciting to update.

I welded up a 2.25" stainless exhuast, put 11" brakes and 2 piston Acura calipers on and some nicer wheels, but that is about it.

LOOKS NICE ... so how do u like that front brake set up ..??? :?:
is it a big difference over stock ..???
  • ChaifeChaife Instagram grand master
    any trouble bleeding the brakes?

the bleeder screw ends up being at the bottom of the caliper... No?
  • 88 wago88 wago Wagonist
    looks awesome bro
  • looooove the bottle caps... good build man
  • Thanks guys.

Yes, you can touch your eyeballs to the windshield with those brakes. And it is a bit tougher to bleed as you have to move the caliper to the back side of the rotor when bleeding to get the bleeder screw on top. The calipers were originally designed to be mounted on the back side, not the front side of the knuckle. The pistons are different diameters, and to get them in the correct location, the bleeder screw ends up on the bottom when used on a civic.

I am kicking around the idea of selling this car if anyone is interested in it.
  • I sold my rt4wd once...

Was lucky enough to get it back.

They are special little cars, just like the crx!

I'd love to see you keep this one, but your choice.
  • I may have seen this on CL or i could be thinking of a different one. But how much you asking??
