  • so i worked on the wagotent tonight lol
i honestly had no idea what i was doing...just saw in my head how i wanted it and started cutting and what do you know it came out pretty good...still nowhere close to being finished but its looking somewhat like a tent...still have alot of sewing to do and need to make the legs. also need to get some foam and cloth to make the mattress but that will come after i finish making the tent.. i had wanted to get some thick wire to bend and make the tent bend outwards but i couldnt find any so its not as much room as i thought but still enough to stretch out.

    the supplies:
old trampoline cloth-free(girlfriends daughters old broken trampoline)
dora the explorer tent-free(baby cousins broken tent)
    sweing supplies-free(moms :D)
    50 strong magnets-5.00 +3.00 shipping(ebay)
    plywood-free(leftovers from my grandpas house)

so all in all ive spent 8.00 ill end up spending more cuz i need foam and other small things but its a rather cheap build
    on to the pics

trying to figure out how to cut the cloth

got the front on and one side of it sewed down..also got the bottom of each side nailed to the plywood

there wont be so many magnets on each side when im done..ive already got the magnets sewed to the inside of the pink piece at the top to hold it in place..this tent deff wont be waterproof but it will keep bugs out

well thats where i ended tonight..still need to sew in some filler cloth and finish a few other spots but the outside is almost done :D
  • dude thats legit! keep up the good work man
  • thanks bro..didnt know how it was gonna look at the end of the night since it was my first try lol but its decent i guess

  • Im curious as to how ur gonna mount it, AND AWESOME PINK BTW lol
  • i think he said he was going to sew the magnets into the tent stuff where theres metal to get contact.

yep cant really see it in the picture but the pink already has the magnets in it and its held up only by that

hopefully i can dye the pink black lol if not looks like im rocking pink lmao
  • the tent idea is genius, I've wanted to do something like that with mine, but never knew how to approach it.
  • I really cant wait till its finished! its gonna be so awsome!

you need wagon specific axles, the spline count is different in the wagon hubs compared to sedan/hatchbacks
