'88 Wagon doing it big in Texas!

Here is my '88 Wagon I picked up about a week ago. Also decided to pick up a '91 Integra for donor parts :) The goal is to strip them both down and use the B18A1, front seats, and brakes from the Integra. The Wagon will be getting the interior repainted/reupholstered and a rollcage installed at the same time. I will try and keep updating as well as possible!

So, while I'm busy dropping the engine out of the Integra, I decided to start fixing the "little" things on the Wagon. When I first received it, the back doors didn't open at all!!! After some work, I got the door panels off and with a flick of a flathead screw driver, I got the door to open. Called up my friends over at John Eagle Honda and to my surprise, Honda still has these door latches in stock! $65 each! Can't wait :) Maybe they will have the rear hatch struts too...
  • The stars at night! Are big and bright!! Claps 3 times* here in the heart of texas~~~~~! Lol

In my spare time, I've been pulling apart the Wagon interior to be painted/reupholstered. Anyone know if aftermarket seat rails for the hatch or sedan fit?

    Paint Phase!

Started painting all the interior plastics black, removed the bumper to cut out the front grille for the intercooler, and painted the corners yellow. Also ordered some clear bumper lights and '92-'93 Accord Wagon wind visors as well :)

  • TurboWagonTurboWagon New Wagonist
Ordered them through Advanced Auto for around $30-40. There is a little trimming involved, but they do fit.

    Thanks for the interest!

Taking the carpet and door panels up to the upholster today. We'll see what they say...
  • TurboWagonTurboWagon New Wagonist
Well, they don't dye carpets and referred me to a few websites with new aftermarket, fitted carpets. But, no one offered a carpet kit for the Wagon :( Looks like it will be another do-it-myself!

Also, picked up some B20B camshafts!

    Thanks,

    Andrew

As you can see, I also had a chance to raise the car up from its ridiculous, ebay coilover slamage. Finishing up the carpet today and hopefully installing the sedan DX pedal set for kicks!
