thanks guys..its getting there. and yeah that fabric is one of those things not everyone likes lol ive got a ton of people that say they hate it but i just think i was better then the spray painted fabric that retard that had it before me did....and with he crappy brown interior i just thought it went better with it. but the hardest part was getting rid of that shiney cheap black spray paint job he did on EVERY DAMN PANNEL....but eh. pretty much going to sit like this for a while but yeah thanks again you guys rock..
  • wow that interior is awesome. to be truthful i never thought i would see the day that i thought brown made a nice interior color, but what you have done is pure awesomeness. this is one of my favorite interiors i have seen in a very long time, maybe ever. keep up the nice work
  • 1991KA81991KA8 Wagonist
^ wow thats really cool to hear and thanks for the kind words. i know doo doo brown interior isnt the best but i had to get rid of the crap that was done to it. but for sure that makes me feel good thanks. there are some amazing wagons on here so uh yeah thanks. :)

    ^ it does look good.
i was worried that you had too much material in there (on the pillars), but it might be just right.
the black wheels make the tires look bigger too.
  • 1991KA81991KA8 Wagonist
i wasnt going to do the pillars but the guy that had it before sprayed them and that was the only paint in the car that wouldnt come off with aircraft remover. so it looked all jacked up. but i do understand what you mean. it wasnt by choice though. thanks for the kind words though. and the wheels are eh' kinda what ever i just didnt like the color matched thing on them. this car wont be slamed to the ground or anything so iam still thinking about a good tire/wheel size combo later on. but for now this works.

    thanks bro..
  • anyone know where you can get those front bumper bar/ light bar things????...ive searched for a while and i cant find shit. i think since my white wagon is on the ground that i want to go up with this one....raised white letter knobby tires, light bar,etc...... but again i have no idea where to get one...
  • Damn. you're doing work! that must have sat quite awhile judging my the look of the internals, cleaned up nice tho, I can't wait to see more.

If you are talking about the bull bar.they had one that I know of at carboy in so cal.not the one in the bay.
  • yeah that one that goes across the front bumper with the two rally lights on it... cool thanks.
  • Love the resto work!!!! Wish it was for sale and a 6 speed!
  • nice job on the fabric man..reminds me of my old coupe i did

  • ohhhhhhhh snap, that shit right there gives me another project lol...i have to steal that idea of the gauge cluster trim. looks nice and yeah that fabric does look alot alike. i just liked it cause it was "plad" and kinda brownish like the car. also it was hella cheap on the sale table.

as far is being an auto i actually dont mind it. i mean i have my white one that is a 5 speed. so havin the RT with an auto is cool with me. but thanks for the support..

and no the guy that had it before me didnt have anyone work on the car he just didnt know what the hell he was doing.now if i could only find that arm rest and bull bar id be happy..

side note what are you guys that are lifted a bit using? just some ebay sleeves with them turned up a bit? i want to go up with this one.
  • In the suspension forum there is a thread that mentions using DA coilovers for about an inch lift and more suspension travel. The rear DA coils need to have 3 coils cut off to level the car out. It is supposed to be a little stiffer than the stock suspension, as well.

That's the route I'm planning on going when I finally get an RT4WD. I might leave the rear a little high for towing.

Was this the one that was for sale in tampa??
  • lol yep 600 bucks
  • oh ok now so i have some future changes going on with both wagons....and the man one is this one is now .

    for sale.

just got the new axles installed yesterday along with all the fluids changed. only thing left to fix is the rear hatch struts and fix the park paw on the end of the transmission. runs/drives great just makes a bad ratching noise in reverse. i know what needs to be replaced its just a mater of time to do it. but iam going to be making a forsale thread/craigslist ad here in a few.
  • Let me know if you ever need a helping hand working on your wagon, or if you want some pics taken for your for sale thread (or just for the hell of it). If it was a manual, I'd be buying it off you!
  • ^ pics huh....i need some pics taken of my acura lol would you shoot that? but sounds good. and yeah i just need to dump this thing for 1200 bucks and go from there.
  • I have off work next week. Pick a day with good weather and we'll detail the Acura and get some pics of it. Do you have a location in mind?
  • AaronAaron Wagonist

I love plaid, it is hard to get it straight though. Looks like it turned out well.

I always wanted to re cover the window visors. How did yours turn out?
