super good degreaser?

ok, so what is a super good brand degreaser that WORKS?
that foamy engine brite crap doesnt do anything worth a dime...

petrol, diesel, brakecleaner
some acid based solutions
to spray, tarbrush ...

X2, but I'll add: Don't try to reverse years of accumulation in one day. The crud that's built up on your engine is BUILT UP on your engine. Peel it off a layer at a time, ie: every time you wash your car, wash your engine. Every time you clean it you'll expose another layer. You don't want to use anything too aggressive.
A pressure washer is not necessarily bad, but be circumspect about where you point it. You can cut rubber/plastic or force water into electrical gear.

Yeah, and I wish there was something else which was better.
I'm having luck with stardrops, but it's not too great TBH.
TBH I've tended to go to the garage with a garden sprayer, buy some petrol and then visit the jet wash
doesnt get carbon build up off valves though
thats the only thing that it hasnt taken off so far on my cleaning adventures
im new to stardrops... been mentioned on 4guk, i never heard of it before
