Not really the intake I wanted, still want the '94-5 LS one. But... a fresh LS head, new valves, Crower springs and retainers, plus intake w/ all the sensors and injectors for cheeeep.
Took it up to the muffler shop for the last bit of tailpipe...couldn't get it just like I wanted it with those wide-sweep crush bent 90s.
Then the goober let my front bumper down on the tubing bender  So now there's that to fix. For now I'm gonna go take the hitch off once more to weld up that green bracket you see, then repaint with something less glossy.
Sounds good. Yeah, it's just a Thrush glass-pack (2 1/2 X 28), helps cut some of the raspiness from all that length of straight pipe. The muffler is also a Thrush (cheap Flowmaster knockoff). Whole setup cost $105ish.
I may go back and put a bigger/quieter muffler on, we'll see. The only way to see how this would sound was to buy it and try it! It does feel like an increase in midrange power...
I've posted all I have taken, I think. It's just an 1 1/4" hitch from a '(94?) Integra and some 1/4X2 angle iron. I hesitate to post specs because it's experimental. I haven't built it as heavy as I might have, just (Ihope) enough to do the job. It may need more braces or refinements...I don't think so, but maaaybe.
so you like the sound with the resonator (glasspack muffler?) on? I may put one on if it doesnt quiet down some after the upcoming change.......
wanted to see how you liked the sound though.....
Yeah, I like it. It mellows the sound- guess that's why they used resonators OE, huh? What I really like is that there's no popping and burbling on deceleration. Of course the extra few bends make a difference, too.
I've got the paint to make the exhaust black...whenever I can fit it back in the shop.

that's one thing i need to do. Reinstall a resonator. I redid my exhaust with 2" piping, left the cat but took out the resonator. It's really loud, louder than I was thinkin it was gonna be. In fact, i actually got pulled over for it a few weeks ago.

hmmmmmm.....
yep, if it aint broke

lol
: )
now I just need a set of cams and some B16 pistons...
Here are some crower stage 2's. http://www.importatlanta.com/forums/sho ... p?t=221383
The hitch install necessitated a little exhaust rework. Being stubborn, I decided to do it myself:
Should finish it up today, 2 1/2" all the way back. Hope it's not too loud. :?

Received the used cams I'd ordered...they're NFG  Hope I didn't just pay a couple hundred worth of "stupid tax".
