    Good find!

I still can't get over those random seat belts you guys have... hehe

Good luck with the project - and yes, you made the right choice buying a wagon!

My goal is simple. Its all about form and function. I have a growing family and I have mad love for EF's. So it only made sense to me.

The plans as of right now, is just to get it running smooth.

Future plans always seem to change, but here are some possiblities.

-Body work, painted bumper, tinted windows, and shaved moldings.
    -Dropping the car, very mild.
    -Custom exhaust work.
-B20Z with a Cable Transmission. Im think'n B20 cause of the torque it makes and the cost is about half of any B-Series V-TEC.

-Konig Heliums mounted with Toyo T1'S

Thanks I had the rims powder coated a while back. Im using my Toyo T1-S for them too.

Also, the head of the B20Z is already modified. I do machine work all the time. So I threw in some Ferrera stainless valves, retainers, springs, and resurfaced the head 1k. I will use a stock B20 block only cause I know how much of a bitch it is to modify. I use one for another project. :D So im all set with messing around with the siamese sleeves and filling the block.

I have a really good friend in Japan who runs a used aftermarket car parts shop. Right now he has over 400 set of rims if that tells you anything. Anyways I just sent him my vin number so he could try and locate some parts for the wagons. He said it will be hard to find because the car is so old. I don't know if any of you know how the car laws are in Japan a car this old still on the road will be kind of rare. If he finds anything he will let me know. Anything I dont need I will pass on to you guys. I can get some full coilovers here in Germany for about 3 to 500 bucks. hopefully soon I will be putting on a set on my wagon if and when money permits. Hopefully in august I will be making a trip to okinawa to visit family and parts shops!!!!!
  • your from Okinawa? my family is from hiroshima. have a great trip.

Hes doing the work on my CR-X too. 8)
  • mvmmvm Wagonist
Well I just cleaned and machined the B20Z head. I want to keep this a very mild build with my signature all over it. Please remember this is not my CR-X and the Wagon will probably never be raced on the track. Probably means that there is always a chance. hahaha

Please remember all the work done to my vehicles are done by myself and the business I own. Merrimack Valley Motorsports.

Finaly brought the Drag'n Wagon home and first thing on my to-do list was getting the parts I need for the brakes in order to pass a state inspection. After purchasing all I could afford with what was in my wallet I went back home to paint the new drums and rotors.

Please remember to wait about 1-2 minutes between coats. Spray about 8-12 inches away from surface. Also wait about an hour before any assembly to ensure the paint drying properly.

    6-14-06
Brought the Drag'n Wagon to the garage to use a bay and jack. After removing the front wheels I realized just how rusty these brakes were and how stupid I was for driving around on them for as long as I had been.
It took alot longer then expected on the left front because the pad was rusted inside the caliper pretty damn good. It was a team effort between A friend, Myself, a hammer, and screw driver to pry this bastard out. The new pad needed some grinding on the outer surface to make fit properly, and after reassembly it was time to put my wheels back on.

The rear drums became an issue because after I removed the left rear, I realized that the drums I had purchased were for a Civic CVCC and not for my beast. Just slightly smaller then what I needed. This wasnt my fault, but I was still pretty pissed that I had already painted them black and couldnt return them after that point.

Oh well, it happens to us all I guess. <_< Im just upset that I waisted all that time for just the front brakes and nothing else was accomplished.

Next on the item list is:

    Calipers
    Drums
    Oil
    Washer Fluid
    Filters
    Exhaust
  • HaydzHaydz Moderator
Good work! Sucks to hear about the rear drums though. Post them up for sale, someone should want new drums with a nice fresh set of paint. :D
  • mvmmvm Wagonist
    Would like to buy list:

    Rear bumper with JDM fogs.
Front bumper with JDM fogs. (the square yellow ones)

haha, The Dragg'n Wagon just past 280,000 and runs mint. Honestly this is the quietest vehicle I have ever had. If it wasnt for the starter turning it over, I would never know if it was on or not. lol
  • mvmmvm Wagonist
Well I just recently did a custom exhaust system with my buddy at his shop in Lawrence Mass where Im originaly from. Here are some pics in progress. Since this I have painted the pipe work black to accent the muffler and tip I used.
