I still can't get over those random seat belts you guys have... hehe
Good luck with the project - and yes, you made the right choice buying a wagon!
The plans as of right now, is just to get it running smooth.
Future plans always seem to change, but here are some possiblities.
-Body work, painted bumper, tinted windows, and shaved moldings.
-Dropping the car, very mild.
-Custom exhaust work.
-B20Z with a Cable Transmission. Im think'n B20 cause of the torque it makes and the cost is about half of any B-Series V-TEC.
-Konig Heliums mounted with Toyo T1'S
b20 is a nice choice i think they are underated if you take the right steps to open them up as they are they have alot of potential im warming over my ls b18 we will see how it goes ....
We DON'T ask ,"why?".We say,"W 8) W!".That's 1 clean wagon...& a roof rack! I didn't get that?Is it different over there?
Thanks I had the rims powder coated a while back. Im using my Toyo T1-S for them too.
Also, the head of the B20Z is already modified. I do machine work all the time. So I threw in some Ferrera stainless valves, retainers, springs, and resurfaced the head 1k. I will use a stock B20 block only cause I know how much of a bitch it is to modify. I use one for another project.
Im not sure if I like em yet. Probably wont in a week or two only cause I like a super clean look. Youll be the first to know.
Check out my body guys award winning car here. http://z14.invisionfree.com/ImportTech/ ... wtopic=665

Finaly brought the Drag'n Wagon home and first thing on my to-do list was getting the parts I need for the brakes in order to pass a state inspection. After purchasing all I could afford with what was in my wallet I went back home to paint the new drums and rotors.
Please remember to wait about 1-2 minutes between coats. Spray about 8-12 inches away from surface. Also wait about an hour before any assembly to ensure the paint drying properly.

Brought the Drag'n Wagon to the garage to use a bay and jack. After removing the front wheels I realized just how rusty these brakes were and how stupid I was for driving around on them for as long as I had been.
It took alot longer then expected on the left front because the pad was rusted inside the caliper pretty damn good. It was a team effort between A friend, Myself, a hammer, and screw driver to pry this bastard out. The new pad needed some grinding on the outer surface to make fit properly, and after reassembly it was time to put my wheels back on.
The rear drums became an issue because after I removed the left rear, I realized that the drums I had purchased were for a Civic CVCC and not for my beast. Just slightly smaller then what I needed. This wasnt my fault, but I was still pretty pissed that I had already painted them black and couldnt return them after that point.
Oh well, it happens to us all I guess. <_< Im just upset that I waisted all that time for just the front brakes and nothing else was accomplished.
Next on the item list is:
Calipers
Drums
Oil
Washer Fluid
Filters
