thought you would find this funny Dizzle.

Friday my steering wheel was shaking like crazy and i had to work Friday night at my part time job delivering pizza so i figured i would get them balanced.

i go to this tire shop that i normally dont go to so i can get it fixed quick. $33 and 40 minutes later i am out the door. it is still shaking like crazy so im like WTF?!

it drives like crap all weekend unless i am doing 80 mph +.

so today i go to another tire shop and watch the guy balance them. one tire had no weights on it at all. two were balanced incorrectly and one was balanced right. only one.

so i get it fixed and now it drives better. i call the original tire place expecting an experience like yours and he just says "bring me your invoice and i will refund your money"

    Yay!

    well, you kinda got lucky!

looks like its not an uncommon thing at all for these dumbasses to screw up. do they think we wont notice a BS job or something?!

i think that most people probably just deal with it, and they dont expect us to come back in wanting it right. so they just hurry through it so they can make mo money.
  • balancing machines need to be calibrated every once in a while also.

When you balance a wheel you spin it, place weights, respin to see if it corrected the balance. Lazy people will skip the respin. Pretty often the weights need adjustment after the respin.
