what happened to you guys making some spoon mirrors? are you still trying to work on that anymore?
I was working on a pair but ran out of time to get them finished by this meet. Honestly not sure they would look better than a good pair of refinished OEM mirrors in satin black.
Just noticed the painted mirrors.. It looks SOOOOO much better with black mirrors.. I hate car that have black around the windows and then a painted mirror.. It just doesn't flow well.

Why you gotta hate, colored mirrors are fresh. ahahah
Looks totally better now with black; flows better with your theme.

Finally, someone else that thinks like me. Most people tell me Im crazy for keeping my mirrors on my cars satin black. This is exactly why.
NJ, can I ask a favor? Can you send me a closeup pix of where your rear lip meets the mudflap? I was wondering how you did your rear lip around the rear mudflaps? Did you modify the mudflap around the lip, or mod the lip around the mudflap? TIA!
can you point me to a post or let me in how you refurbed your mirrors?
The mirrors were redone using another set. That left him with the option to throw a painted mirror.
The process involved sanding down a set of oem mirrors with a fine grit then painting them with an automotive trim paint.

Thanks Doodle. He answered that question. A light sanding with a fine grit. I shaved the factory lettering for a smooth look then you can use Duplicolor Trim paint or Duplicolor Low gloss black engine paint works great as well.
Why don't you adjust for m0re neg. camber out back, instead of the verticle look.
GOOD EYE Timeless. I had a wheel alignment done the day before the trip and they set it like that. I hated to see this veritical camber in the rear. As soon as I got back I adjusted it. A slight Neg camber now. Looks 100x's better. 8) I have to take updated pics.
nj1 and nj2 both have custom headliners with rear speakers. they look incredible. if you think these cars are clean in pics, it doesnt do them justice.

Totally, talk about two different worlds when comparing the exterior/interior = Super-Ricky Racer Stealth/VIP Style. It's Unique Auto.

Ok Shenrie...
Here's wat I did... I put the mudflap on the bumper and lip. Marked where the mudflap wraps the lip. I took a razor and a ruff grid sandpaper and gently worked the shape of the lip into the inside of the mudflap where they meet. You can see in my shitty pics that I carved the shape of the lip into the mudflap.
Patience is the key. I wish I spent more time on mine to perfect it. Once is on the car you wont really notice the imperfections unless you get under there. Hope that helps.

Shenrie-
I modified the mudflap around the lip. I'll try to take pics today.
