Goodridge brake lines

Hey guys.. I'm doing my 91 integra brake upgrade Thursday and was wondering if all the GOODRIDGE steel braided brake lines are the same..? Does it matter if it Acura or Honda..?

  • Not all are the same. Our vehicles have drum brakes in the rear and use different lines over the rear disc set up. I'm using DA integra front lines no problem. You would need to use the integra kit for all 4 corners if you are doing a rear disc conversion.

Good luck with the brake swap! I just ordered a set of 1990 integra lines and we'll see how these puppies feel. I was just trying to figure out if in the rear they replace the whole line from the rear caliper to the body or if it's a partial.

Off topic but it sounds like you are putting eg brakes on a ef/da? If so that isn't going to work very well, knuckles are very different.

On the brake lines, I went through the same thing on my brake swap. For the most part all factory disc hondas use the same brake lines, just different lengths.

Oh damn.. Will it fit and work...? Cause I was looking at them side by side and they look exactly the same..
  • I wouldn't recommend. Your geometry will be off IE(massive amounts of negative caster and positive camber) If you still want to run them you will need a camber kit, depending on how low you are other issues may apply.

Stick with DA or EF EX knuckles/brakes.

Note, DC are the same as what you claim to have 92-95 civic ex

On 4wd you'll still need the civic (drum) lines. The DA (disc) line is very different.

The lines for any 4th gen Civic would be the same, also no different for RT4wd
