How to remove rear egine mount?

Just wondering how the hell do I remove the rear engine mount? It looks like theres no way to get to the rear bolt. Am I missing something?

neither have I. just get a wrench or socket wrench that will fit in there. now if its rusted solid then its a problem. other then that just some elbow grease should get it out.

could be possible that the 2WD might be different then the 4WD :?:
  • I got it off. It wasn't near as hard as I figured it would be.

I took a swivel end and a long extension and it came off the first try.

b16 mount is on now. ;)

RT4WD has the same mount to my knowledge. You don't take the mount point off just the bolt through the middle.

You do when you are installing a B16a..

Also, I read in a manual that that bolt is a "special bolt" and must be replaced if removed.. I don't know about that though.

Oh in that case you'd need to cut it off i guess? When i looked at mine it looked like it had been riveted on there with some badass industrial rivets.
  • The rear mount is just bolted in..

I think were making this way to hard on ourselves
  • Hahaha seriously.

Ok Here is how it goes..
There is three bolts that hold the rear mount on... One in the back and two in the front..

The one in the back has the actual mount part in front of it making it hard to get to the rear bolt.. The end.

I guess yours is different to mine then because my rear mount is two bolts at the front and two badass rivets at the back. :P
