It goes bang bang bang everytime i hit a bump or pothole wtf

ok so i have a 90 wagovan slammed on skunk2 coilovers and everytime i hit a bump or pothole it goes bang bang bang i know my shocks up fron are bad is that the onlhy problem or is there more...please help

    I'm guessing your struts are bottoming out. How slammed are you?

    It's likely not this on your car, but while you're looking at other things check out the sway bar bushings and end links. I've had a car where it sounded like something was hitting the floorpan, only further forward, over bumps. I went under there and the sway bar bushings were noticeably worn. You couldn't yet move it around by hand, but replacing the bushings solved the issue. I've also seen a car where the sway bar to subframe mounting bracket bolts were torn out, causing it to whack the subframe all the time.

    what kind of bang are you talking about? It would help to have a better discription. Does the car continue to bounce as its banging? Or does it still bang when he car is not bouncing? Is it more of a rattle? Could be struts, or just the springs doing nothing.

    Wait you said you're on coilovers? are they old? just the front shocks or blown? is that where the bang is?
