I run the FF1's on my beater wagon. With a two finger gap you should have no problem keeping the spring preloaded.

I'm slammed, even took out the lower jam nuts. Still not low enough for my taste.
  • Anyone try these coilovers on an RT before?
I'm not trying to dump it. Are they worth $600?
    Just wondering.

I've never heard of them. I'm personally running skunk2 and know a couple people here that are. I've also heard good things about the Progress suspension setups - they're about the cheapest priced good ones I can think of. I've seen them for $600 or less. I'm thinking about getting a set myself actually. I know there are other good ones out there too.

I am rocking the type 1s on my wago and they ride great I have them set at about a finger gap for daily driving. and all the way down when we go to the track. I drove 140 miles round trip from my shop to import face off and back again in my wago with the ff1 as low as the go(without removing the last 2 rings which offers another inch of drop all the way around and will drag front and rear mud flap). we had 5 people in the wago and 2 coolers, some snacks and such. minus a lot of mud flap dragging. we made it with no issues and it still rode great. As far as spring rates go. the ef chassis specific ff1 are meant for the hatch or sedan. so naturally the spring rate is not the best for our wagos. As far as changing the spring out this can only be done on the ff2.5 as the rest of the line does not use the same size spring as eibch. as far as a comparison, just tonight alone I have my wago with FF1, and integra with FF1 an integra with tokiko whites and gc sleaves, and a hatch with yellow/gc on them and my wago rides and handles the best out of the set. I will be putting my super streets on the wago next month so I will be able to compare to them as well but for now the FF1 is an amazing deal for the price.
