New member/ kind of

Whats up people. I got my 91 wagon about two months ago and have been looking on here since then. I finally decided to introduce myself. I'm from central PA. I basically bought the car as a beater/ work car. Found it on craigslist for $1200. I waited paitently for a month while I watched the price drop. When it finally reached 800 I had to call and ask about it. I got ahold of the guy litterly 10 minuets before he planned on driving it to the auction. The car was lowered on crappy coilovers and slammed while the previous owner had it. It sat so low that while he went over a manhole it pulled from about mid car to rear exhaust off. So the car was insanely loud while I test drove it.
Anyway the car had some other issues too so I offered him 600 and walked away with a good beater. Well just like any other Honda I had ( mainly b16 crx's) I quickly got bite by the evil mod bug. I can't have a Honda and not want to modify or for better words "improve" it. So obviously my beater car has become my new project car.
I'd like to upload some photos but it seems like I don't have permission?? I'm using my iPhone to view this site. How do I upload pictures? If someone can help me out I have maybe 3 cell phone photos a day or two right after I bought the car. So anyway Im trying to keep everything simple and clean and kind of "sleeperish". First things first I need more power. I plan on doing a B- series swap within the next few weeks. Probably going with a b16 unless I can find a good deal on a ls/vtech or whatever. I loved vetch ever since I did my first b16 swap in my 89 hf crx. So I definetly want to go with vtech someway. Anyway I'll finish up here and post photos once I know how

Welcome to the site. Can't wait to see some pics. FYI it's vtec not vtech.
  • Dude I know it's vtec and not vetech or whatever. Pretext on my phone does weird things sometimes and I don't always proof read, lol it's cool though. Can't wait to get some work done. It's freezing cold though, hard to work on your car in 19 degree weather.
Anyway I'm anti facebook, Twitter, and never actually joined and posted in a forum before. So If anyone one can tell me how to post pictures on here that would be cool. Thanks
  • Www.photobucket.com will host your pictures. Go there and it will walk you through.
  • Thanks 503wagon. Here are 3 pics of the wagon a day or two after I bought it. It was still dirty and not the best pics but there it is. Found a usdm gsr with 30,000 on a rebuild for $1700? This is a complete swap. What do you guys think?

I just felt like busting someones balls earlier and your post happened to be the first one I read. LOL
Still no pics? Mounts and everything from the swap sound good for 1700 IMO
Good luck and keep us updated.

    Good looking wagon. Great platform.
  • Hi man, were sure your pretty 'hefty' modification/power-wise
but frankly our only interest is pictures and a occasional bbq-meetin'
    joke
