Water on DRIVERS side floorboard

On both the front and read on the drivers side the floorboards retain water which turns to ice during the winter here in Spokane, WA. Threw it up on a lift looking for a source (Rusted floorboard or something) But nothing. Undercarriage looks great. looking for insight.

  • Ill throw out possible leak points as stupid as some might seem

    -air ducts
-leak from the windshield that makes its way behind the dash
    -e-brake cable holes
    -firewall wire harness grommets

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

LHD Also I will check out those possible places
  • Mine was a small plug the old owner removed above the hood release.. Just pour water on car and stick your head under the dash
  • my wagon leaks through the top seal of the door, where the door rubber meets the metal. i have not bent the door in yet...so it still leaks in HEAVY rain.

First run water down the cowl (where the wiper is).See if water comes out of the bottom of the wgn.I think it should come out on both sides by rear of the front fender.

I was thinkin you might be parking leaning to the left & water is leaking in.In which case check:
    water in passenger floorboard
    Look for the Tegtips link.

    Here's a tip I gave 90shuttle:

 I haven't done the fix yet.My only advice is :
Don't park pointing down hill.A slight incline is OK,you'll need to experiment .
Park under a tree w/lots of leaves so it covers the right(in your case the left) wiper area.
