Curious what they look like on a stock wagon. I love the CRV ones.

    Oh wow! Daddy liiiiiike lol

It's amazing how much I think I know about wagons, then something like this, or a rear window deflector, or something else cool pops up.

Oh for sure. They're not like the CRV ones in that aspect.
  • I spoke to a buddy of mine in Japan about these when they first went for sale on Ebay, he did some research and found a wagon over there with them. He looked at the mounting points, stepped lightly on them, checked the quality, told me they were not functional, and that his opinion is they're a waste of money. Anyways, most of us have our wagons lowered, just another thing that could be torn off if you hit a hit bump or something. I would say if you really want some, make your own, or modify the CRV ones.
  • ^^There is a beagle around town here and from what I can see these are pretty strong. Always see the peoples kids standing on them and bouncing the whole car while waiting for their Mum at the supermarket

But an adult couldnt stand on them due to the fact they dont stick out(need little feet to grip them), they look like they are more for protecting the sills of the car from rocks etc when offroad.

^ I miss NZ... I can't wait to go back... It just seems much safer & friendlier... You can leave your kids outside while you go shopping & don't have to worry as much...
  • from what ive seen they mount through the factory sideskirt mounting holes
if you dont have factory fresh rockers i forsee them falling off/ ripping out the first time to put any pressure on them
IE im totally screwed since my wagon is MI based lol

The kids have nothing to worry about, its us who have to worry about kids. Criminals are getting younger sadly.
  • those look really cool actually. im lifting up my wagon an inch i think those would be a nice addition...but they'd need to be functional.

Um, I saw way more sheep in NZ than Australia ( I heard the Aussys are just a little closer to their sheep ;) )

You must be in the North of North Island, drive a little south, look anywhere, you'll see them everywhere..
