Exterior Dimensions

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to measure out the dimensions of all of the body panels (hood, roof, doors, and all surfaces painted except for the bumpers). I don't have a wagon quite yet but I am adding up the cost of my slight dd build I will be doing on one later in the year. The reason I need to know is I am going to be wrapping the car in arctic camo vinyl as it will be my snowboarding car and I think this will look sick. The plans for the car include the following just to let you know what this crazy vinyl choice will be paired with.

Arctic camo vinyl (http://www.metrorestyling.com/ProductDe ... e=CAMOSNOW)
Godspeed DA coilovers (turned all the way down)
DIY Bull Bar with piaa lamps (maybe I'll make a write up?)
15x8 +15 XXR 501's in white
Yakima Roof rack with fatcat6 attachment
Fender flares (ebay for an s13)
The bumpers will be black and so will the trim.
Subs/decent sound system

What do you think? After my prelude is finished with it's boost build I will be attempting, from what I have read, the first rt4wd h2d swap with the H22 that is in my BB6 currently and building up the tranny/drivetrain.

And when measuring I only need rough estimates of length and width such as for the fenders as I will be ordering it by the rectangular sheet. And round up/guess higher so I don't get too optimistic LOL Thanks to anyone who responds.

    Puff puff pass...
  • Carefull with the H2d dseries trans dont like to get beat on much(would be better H2b)..I would say its kind of a waste of money and going to be hella tight fit but something not seen every day.
  • ^ Thanks for the input. There will be a lot more research and custom work for that swap when I'm at that stage but right now I'm not really thinking about that when I have my prelude build to think about.
  • bump for some measurements please. It will take like 2 minutes.
  • youd be better off
    1-gallon rustoleum white
    1-quart rustoleum gray
    1-quart rustoleum black
    1-gallon mineral spirits
    HF paint guns/barrow a friends
    cut up cardboard as templates
buy 2 cases of beer + pizza and invite some friends over to do the paintjob with ya

When was the last time you saw real camo with sharp edges?

Seriously it will look rubbish, every second drift car or Van in NZ has camo

  • hmm, well that is NZ not Washington state, over here the drift cars are just obnoxious colors like baby blue with dolphins painted on the side (actual pro am drift car). I have seen one camo wrapped car and it was a show winning STI over here. I like it, to each his own I guess. It's not going to be the first thing on the list anyway so I have a while to decide. I just wanted to add up cost.
  • Why don't you just wait till you have a wagon. With the long list of stuff that you are supposedly going to put on it, and you already stated this will not be the first thing on your list, it seems you will have plenty of time to get your estimate.
  • Yah I guess, just wanted to know what I was looking at before hand. My list isn't that long, you should see the prelude list LOL. Thanks guys, I appreciate the input.

The perfect camo (proper camo using spray cans)

  • ^ That looks pretty good. Most spray paint camo looks like shit but that is awesome. hmmm, now that I have a good example I may change my mind. I have just never seen a decent rattle can job. NowI need to figure out how to do it.
