New member in New Hampshire

Hello from the Seacoast area of New Hampshire. I've been lurking for a few weeks and enjoying the site quite a bit. I have a '91 dark gray wagon that is not in running condition right now. The head gasket blew during the summer after some overheating problems. I am a long-time Honda affectionado, starting with the yellow 1st gen Civic 5-speed hatch I bought new in 1978 and drove for 10 great years and 248k miles. It was the only new car I ever purchased, until a couple of months ago, when I got a blue 2010 Fit. Anyway, great website, and I'm looking forward to exploring more. Wondering if there are any wagonheads in this area. I do see a couple of stock wags driving around here fairly often (the same two, a blue one and a red one).

I will post some pix...

  • Here is a picture. Hope this works...

Aagh... can't seem to attach a picture. I'll try later using the image hosting service method.
  • Thanks... That's the url all right, but I can't seem to get the image to appear in the post, either as attachment or externally hosted.

Ah, I went back and edited the post using a different version of the url and it worked. Don't know why imageshack gives two types of url.
  • Yeah it wouldn't do it for me either.
  • Let's try another one... This is how it looked a while back, in warmer weather.

  • When I first got it, both hood hinge pins were busted, and the previous owner had actually put those dents in the hood with his fists trying to get it to latch. I couldn't find new hinges so I fixed the old ones using bolts for pins.
  • Score!!!

    f* mang...nice pixxx...

  • I had a hard time finding body parts. None of the junk yards around here have any Civics this old, much less a wagon. I turned to eBay and got lucky. Got a set of sun visors (originals were blistered and ruined), a passenger side mirror, and a set of original factory service manuals. The mirror took the longest to find.
