That looks awesome! Any rolling vids?
  • yeah sure my friend took a clip right after i was putting it all back together
  • Looks great, lots of hard work!

Care to explain some of the work you did and challenges you had to overcome on this build?

Did you reinforce the trailling arms at all or just cut and weld?
  • I'm in for details...

That looks crazy, nice I like it
  • That turned out really well. Congrats. How are you enjoying driving it? Is it still SOHC Turbo?
  • Looks sick!
  • initially when i got the whole thing, i was told that it came originally from an eg 4wd thinking to myself that it would be an easy thing to do. little did i know it came from an integra zxi. and stress and bad stuff also came with it.

    fabbed up some transmission mounts
fabbed the oil pan (got too hot from the acetylene torch and warped, got to buy a new one to make because its leaking
    cut the driveshaft 80mm
cut the fuel tank to make room for the diff mount and shorter chasis
cut trailing arms 45mm(beleive it or not the easiest one to do)
cut upper trailing arm 50mm, should have been 40mm hehe

these are the easy ones to do...except maybe the fuel tank(hardest). its the small bullsh*t that takes time.. you can spend the whole day measuring and thinking what to do but sometimes doing it on the spot makes the best out of it. for instance the rear differential mount its the simpliest, lightweight, strongest, fastest to do, yet before that i thought of all the design and scratching my head on the process of doint it...

i took some pic earlier and a vid on jacks

  • actually i broke it during testing, i kept the upper rubber diffenbtial mounts for a bit of comfort. i went into an incline where i tried to do awd burnouts. my stupidity got me and did not think about the weight being shifted all the way to the back.. at first the rear tires were scratching like i wanted them to be..,, then i got all happy and excited and kept doing them... the rubber bushings tore themselves up and threw the right rear axle out of the spider bearings..then i wasnt giggling after that... coulnt find a spider bearing:( luckily i tried a crv axle which was aound 25mm longer, thank god that fits.
  • thank you mr jaker. im driving it like an old guy would, i need to find urethane bushings for the upper differential mount, i dont want to break it before new years hehehe. its still sohc vtec-e turbo. i went from 3 inch exhaust to 2 and a quarter because its hard to fit the pipe with all that stuff down there though ive resorted into open wastegate dump tube i hope that will help
