Anyone added a 12v outlet?

Hey guys,

I'm interested in adding a 12v outlet to my wagon. I'm thinking of having it switched so it comes on when you turn to "accessory" position on the ignition rather than it always being hot.

Anyone else do this already? What wire to tap from? Or is it better to have it permanently hot?

    Just take a wire from your cigarette lighter and run it to wherever. Since its already an outlet it has an appropriate sized fuse already so you wont be tripping out the power to other things that are critical

    I put a 12v constant in the rear. It's powered by the rear dome light.

    I also pig tailed an extra outlet off the front outlet and hid it in the console for the sirius sat. radio freeing up the stock outlet.
