rotary RWD Wagon

SO I am actually debating whether to spend the cash on this project. I want to put a. 85 RX-7 engine and drivetrain into a wagon. I know it's a lot off work but only one thing is holding me up. I need to run the transmission through the rear support for the engine, do I really even need that bar anymore? Can I just pull it and pitch it?

And that "support bar" as you put it is a rather structural subframe. I dont think removing it would be very wise
Also friends don't let friends have Rotary's
Hey, you lay off of rotaries
Well put, sir.
General rule of thumb with building cars- if you have to ask, you probably shouldn't even try it
Well if you like buying petrol, oil, apex seals and dont really want to drive your car but rather spend your time fixing it then yes, a Rotary engine would be the perfect choice
the hard part about swapping in a backdated 13b is getting the wiring setup, unless your throwing it into a 4wd wagon of the same year.
it would just be cheaper to upgrade to a d16z6.
