Thanks for the great compliments I just fixed some rust spots around the "H".I originally was going to paint it,but that'll take me a week to prep, sand, etc. So I did it in 20 minutes w/o a spray can & less than $2O.I used the Vinyl sticker stuff that they make signs out of.You can get it on Ebay or any sign shop. That's a whole roll enough to do your whole posse.
 The vinyl comes in many colours. There's 2 grades of vinyl.1 last about 1-3 years & the other last 3-5 years. The "Carbon Fibre" look doesn't last as long.I went with the Black(longer lasting). On this small area it doesn't matter 'cuz u can do it over if it fades(remember in less than 20minutes). HELL you could change the color every other day if u wanted.
Make sure the area is very clean b4 laying down the vinyl.I used a 8"(400mm) wide vinyl about 6"(155mm) longer than the width of the hatch.Started at one end.Peeled the vinyl backing as I went.Pressing the bubbles out w/my hand. It's going to curve up(I think) 'cuz the hatch is curved. That's OK I had to do it twice. I think I started with about 2"(25 mm) of vinyl at the top & by the time I got to the other end I had 5"(130mm) on top.Now you trim off the vinyl leaving enough vinyl to wrap around to the back.On the top part use a razor to trim it,but eave at least a 1/4"(6mm)+ to tuck it under.
As far as the "Si" emblem . I cheated.I pressed the vinyl as close as I could to the emblem.Using a X-acto knife(razor) I trimmed it as close as possible to the emblem.Of course the gold showed though in spots.I filled it in with Black touch-up paint.
 And for my next trick.I was tempted to do the whole hood in Carbon Fibre.I'd have to get a 30"(76cm) roll.
 Another wicked idea would be to do a racing stripe down the middle with carbon fibre on the side for the hood.

Below:'89w/brakes ON(Wgn brake lite gone).
I modded a normal OEM '88-'91 Hatchback rear wing to fit.Removed the Wgn rear 3rd eye & used the HB's .
 A JDM EF SiR rear wing would work too.I thing it looks better. The 1 I saw was plastic . I don't know if it was JDM or a copy.
Below '89 w/wing(b4 Wgn was SOLD):
Below:My 1st. prototype.Notice the gap at the lower end. This was eliminated on the 2nd & final piece.
Below: Looks OEM & it flows nicely .
Below:Looks like the NSX Wing.
Now when I look at a wagon it doesn't look right w/o the wing.
It'd be cheap too.
