Atv tires?

I saw this picture:

and started to wonder if anyone has mounted a set on their wagon? I know the load rating would be exceeded, but when was the last time you did something that someone told you not to?

  • I'm sure somewhere, someone has done that. I haven't seen anyone on the site put any really aggressive tires on their wagon though. Do it!! :D

Frigggin right! Someone do this with a RT or even a FWD and make it a mudder! Channel your inner Redneck!
  • I started doing the research a couple weeks ago on this. I was trying to see if there was anything that might fit on stock honda rims. You can definitely get lots of 26x9r14 atv tires and I found a few 26x8r14 but I doubt they would fit in the wheel well without some lift and or modification. I dunno if you'd have more luck with the 13" wheels. I think our stock tires are something like 24x7R14 in english tire sizes. I was looking for a 25x8R14 or something close but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of that around. And I imagine a 9" width might be a little much for a stock rim.
  • Available in a 26x8r14

  • What is the maximum weight rating for ATV tires like that though?
  • well that particular one is only rate at 350 at 7psi. I started looking a little more a lot of the 26x9R14 found some that are rated at 700lbs for 7psi and 1000 at 14 psi. Those are within reason I would think.
