Dunno what i want to do with my wagon

Ive had this wagon for about 6 months now and i LOVE IT! :D

But i dunno what i want to do with it... a good friend of mine once told me "do you wanna make it look good or do you wanna make it go fast" i guess i kinda want both.

One of the changes i wanna do is change the color of the interior from a poopy brown to like a milky beige or something... i dunno.....give me some ideas

yeah, wagon attack is what what compelled me to buy a wagon in the first place. i was originally going to buy a beater rt4wd wagon and swap out the drivetrain to a civic ef hatch. but the wagon grew on me :)

D16Z6 and a little turbo will have ya runnin' good. You have a really nice looking wagon, just gotta get it up to speed.

Oh, and if it's not fast enough after all that, I would suggest flame stickers, a stick on hood scoop, and some more decals.

JRSC (Jackson Supercharger) that thing and call it a day.
  • dude, you've got a great color car. get a wood steering wheel and shift knob and maybe redo the headliner with some cooler brown fabric. instant radness. if i were you i'd go with a cool surf/island theme inside and make the brown work for you (dash mounted hula girl seems like a must). just have fun with it and don't worry about making it look like everyone else's wagon

as far as performance, you can always put a header and full exhaust on it to start with as well as an intake and some suspension modifications to get it lower and more responsive. i'm sure there are tons of old worn out bushings too. wheels are pretty controversial too, but can instantly transform how your car looks along with a good suspension setup. some people like oem honda wheels and others like to find aftermarket wheels that fit differently than the stock wheels do. me personally, i like wider lower offset wheels and there are TONS of old japanese wheels and even newer ones that look nice on a wagon.

next if you're wanting to get it going faster, you could put a smaller dsm turbo on it and have it tuned on low boost (6PSI-ish would be ideal i think). i'd reccomend getting a new turbo or having one professionally rebuilt, as used ones can fail pretty easily and you never really know how many miles are one them...best to start with a fresh one and see how long it takes before you kill it personally. superchargers are nice, but that's too much constant load on the engine for my tastes, but i daily drive mine about 90 miles a day, so that might not matter as much to you.

the main thing is to think about your needs as the driver of this car. if it's a weekend/fun car then it's not as big of a deal to get into turbocharging it, but if it's a daily driver, you'll want to make sure to be careful how much you alter the reliability of your car. HAVE FUN WITH IT!!!!
  • i say lower it, turbo it

did you buy this off of humboldt craigslist?im in Nor Cal too.but not that far.i say drop it about two inches.throw a turbo on that thing or headers, intake, manifold, throttle body and a nice exhaust system.the choice is yours.

Very Clean wagon, you could go with some stickers and decals, i hear they give 5hp a piece.... save up your money and drop a k20a2 in it, they'll never see it coming : D
Doo doo brown wasnt one of honda's best idea's in the EF's EE's... cream sounds good
  • asoaso Band Wagon
very nice definitely would suggest turbo or do a zc or z6 swap then turbo and lower it a little bit
  • jpennerjpenner Band Wagon
Really nice. Agreed that lowering it a bit would be nice. Also depending on the condition of the paint job currently, if you do repaint, it looks nice when the black trim from bumper to bumper and including the bumpers is painted the same as the car.

Lowering would be my first step with that car
  • 4wd swap and take it off road!!! Ignor these lower it comments and have dome real fun in your wagon!!!!

Lol all joking aside. There is a ton of build threads and a ton of wagon info on this site. Poke around for ideas and see what you like. Make it your own wagon, not what everybody else likes.

I vote stickers, definately lower it and leave the doo doo brown alone.
