4WD Wagon Value?

what is the value on a 91 4WD wagon stickshift? idk the miles on it yet but ive seen one here at work and asked if they would sell it, whats a reasonable offer to throw at them for it?

That question on this forum will get you answers anywhere from 1-10,000. It is worth whatever you are willing to pay for it.

lol funny bro my friend got his for 1000 but that was cheap my other friend got his for 1300 but 2wd I heard that the transmission on the 4WD gets messed up real easily is that true?

Yours was pretty trashed though. At least it's clean now!

I got mine for $900, but it had issues too. Bad HG, crappy wind shield, bad paint on the hood/fender, 224,000 miles.

Maybe this is a dumb question but did you think to check KBB or NADA?

lol nah I totally forgot to check KBB but yeah my friends 4WD tranny recently went out so he has 2WD now and my other friend was saying that 4WD tranny's got out easily but i dont think he has his facts right so why not come on here and ask the other wagon owners but Charb said they dont so maybe ill grab that wagon if they dont want too much for it

Well for my zipcode, on KBB, a 225,000 mile RT4WD booked from $710-$1360. It would probably be higher in a big city zipcode.

I would not sell my wagon for that unless I were desperate. I have sunk too much in it. and besides, I would tell somebody to go ahead and try and find another one. I don't think KBB accounts for rarity. Maybe that's reaching a bit, since most people could care less about a HCW, I dunno.

Last week I had an offer for $1700, and I turned it down.

I decided to take it off the market. I just don't think I'll find a better car for the money. I was planning to use the money for a down payment on a Fit, but changed my mind.

yeah my zip gave me that pricing and the guy that owns it dont think he knows how rare they are so he would let it go for that much if I asked so hopefully he does decide to sell lol

I think it really depends on the condition and *who* is selling it.

If it's an older person who isn't into cars at all, it's gonna go for a pretty fair price. If it's in really great shape and someone who knows how hard it is to find a super clean RT4WD you might pay upwards of 3K.

There are no horrible questions just horrible information. Take some time and check out what other 4 wheel drive wagons go for in your area and go from there. I picked my 91 two wheel drive clean title wagon up for $350 with a blown motor.

I got my rt4wd for $500 (maybe it was $450,c an't remember). Interior was spotless. Engine ran well but the rear quarters were rusted. Was it worth it? Hell ya! The guy who sold it to me prolly thought I was crazy for buying it off him for $500 whereas I thought he was crazy selling it for only $500. Like Rage said, The wagon is worth whatever you want or are willing to pay for it.

ok well their isnt really many wagons in my area especially not 4wd ones so dont know how much they go for in the area but a friend of mine did get his for 800 I believe
