Photoshop tips? (Creating my own sticker)

I have a couple of custom stickers in mind that I need some help in designing. Where do I start with photoshop? I'm really new to it, and wouldn't know where to begin. All tips are welcome. A good place to look for some fonts or something along those lines would be cool too. Where would I go to get them printed?
