Simplyhonda New wagon!

Hi All! I've been lurking around here for a while and looking for a wagon to fix up. I found me one 30 minutes from the house on tuesday while on craigslist. Wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but the price seemed fair so she came home. I wanted RTAWD, I have none. I wanted manual, I have none. What I have is a 91 automatic 2wd. 145,000 miles super clean!! Exterior not bad. N0 rust anywhere! all origional paint - never wrecked. Just has average dents. I think it will clean up nice!
No the bad. Guy said low compression on cylinder 2 and uses a quart of oil every 300 miles. she has no power!! Will run down the highway fine but accelleration is terriable! Any thoughts? It really is no big deal, as I hope to do an engine swap some time, I'd kinda just like to get her running for now.
I have had a 87 CRX Si for 13 years and drive a 00' Civic Si daily.
These pics are when I brought it home. I have now started cleaning it up. Let me know what you guys think!

  • I say it's a great deal for $700.
  • that thing is very clean for 700 , i paid 600 for my 2wd 5speed and 700 for my 4wd auto .
for the trany swap thing it should not be too hard if you have any mechanic skills .
theres a few members on here that have done the swap before and im pretty sure they would be glad to anwser and questions about it .
you def have a good starting point , good buy .

Dude, you see so many junk wagons on the road so any wagon that isn't trashed is a find! Great deal even if you have to do a little work
