civic wagon rt4wd (6spd) for $3995, no rust, non smoker, complete records, some hail damage to roof (no big deal) oh and has aftermarket sun roof only 135k miles!! everything there just has some tear on driver seat, again no big deal... going to look at it wednesday for possibly buy and trade of my 92 si civic hatch!!
holy shit im so excited im about to shit myself!

    Hail damage to roof could be good or bad. "Aftermarket sunroof" scares the crap outta me. I've seen tons of really bad installs.

    I'd take a look at some of the really clean wagons for sale here and compare that to what you would be getting. For 4K you should be getting an insanely clean wagon.

    yea it an rt4wd sunroof installed by asc, not sure about motor i assume its the a6 like i said im going to look at it wednesday then ill let you guys know. i called the guy and some old people owned it and have all maint. records, they gave it to their son when he was 16 and he got rid of it because he DIDNT LIKE IT! i was like wow wtf!? he said it leaks a little probably just needs valve cover gasket or oil pan gasket.

    oh and he said he would most likely take a trade on my hatch, (he said he likes to deal with the "rarer" hondas) the hatch has 147k miles, its pretty clean too, hopefully he'll shave off a little cash there. if i dont get at least 2k from the hatch, well, i dunno... He knows what he's got too so that could be a bad thing.. :(

    dude, not to be Mr. Pessimist but for 4000 you can find a hellava lot cleaner RT wagon then that! or any wagon, for that matter. did you want 4WD? cause i got a super duper clean 2WD wagon for sale for that much lol.

    yeah theres a hella clean RT about 25 miles from my house its in hella good shape its $1700...... if it makes u happy buy it but when u see the same car for half the price a month later dont say we told ya so......

    well basically im looking for a rust free rt4wd thats in pretty good shape and this is the ONLY one that i have found remotly close to here. As a matter of fact its the only rt4wd i have found! tried ebay, craigslist, etc..

    For 4k you can find something somewhere else in the country, fly there, buy it, and have a fun road trip home :)

    I understand why it's 4k...stealership.

    My opinion is to not do it. I got ripped off getting my wagon, and even though I love it, it's still a sore memory that I would have done differently if I had the chance.

    Think of it this way: If you find a 2K wagon, spend 300 to fly there, 200 on the drive home, 1500 would get you either full suspension, or a z6 swap and springs/struts. An extra 1-2k is a LOT of money.

    true... im basically going to look at it/test drive it and see what he would give me on a trade in for the hatch and see how much cash he would want. so i may not be spending much at all. although the hatch is my daily and very dependable, i dont know what ill be getting myself into with a new car. depends on how much he would give me on trade in and everything... ill keep looking i guess, havent found anything else really...

    well i didnt get the chance to go look at it wednesday, im actually going through dealer school (at a casino) right now on top of working so i havent had much time to do anything really.. but i think ill take your guys advice on this one... where is that rt at you said was so clean? could you possibly get pics of it? would be appreciated
