What kind of sound? Hissing sort of, like fuel pressurizing the rail?

If you just had the tranny out, check over what you removed.

    1) The battery cable to the starter (12 mm nut, ring terminal)
    2) solenoid wire to the starter (smaller wire, spade terminal slips on)
    3) ground wire to the clutch cable bracket (10mm bolt, ring terminal)

all those checked out fine i did try another relay and even tried mine in the other car so the relay isnt the problem.

as for the sound its kinda like a ticking but with a kinda burr sound to it from the intake manifold.

well it seems like its coming from my iacv i unplugged it and the sound stopped so ima go pull one from the junk yard and see what happens
  • That's the normal IACV sound.

You might have missed the ground that bolts to the thermostat housing. That's the ECU ground as well as the ground for almost all your engine sensors.

I'm a little confused. Is it turning over and not starting?

no it will turn over just not run i think if i get a new iacv it will run again.

I doubt the IACV is preventing it from starting. You could unplug the IACV and the engine will still start. Lots of guys run their cars with no IACV. The buzzing you're hearing is pretty normal, especially if the ground for the ECU is not connected. Have you checked that ground at the thermostat housing?
  • Even just wire up another lead from the GND on the battery to that point just to rule it out. It's such a common fault.
