Does your wagon have power-steering?

Was just told by a honda dealer that our local EE3 4WD wagon all steer quite heavy (when parking).
He seems to think that they never came with p/s where as all the other honda of that era did (ED3/ED6 & ED9)

88-91 at least.
We didn't get the EE models here so i have no idea what is stock in Aus.
correction: None of the 5speed 2wd cars I've seen had power steering- only the autos.
Good to know. I've never seen one with out.
Why does everyone talk about putting a non wagon manual rack in? Doesn't really make sense, but nothing does lol
I am still scratching my head as to how you got all those cars home with you on Saturday. Wasnt there just you and your wife, and 4 cars?
Anyway, my sister in law has a VERY mint Candain 90 2WD (under 100k KMs) and it has both Power steering and AC I belive. Ill verify the next time I see it.
but as far as other countrys, no idea.
I did have factory stereo at one point because the speakers in both doors were very rotted honda speakers when I replaced them. It also has the clock.

Another issue I ran into was the passenger side rack clamp. The manual rack is not as large in diameter (or as heavy) as the power rack, so the clamp that holds the rack to the frame with two bolts was too big. I used a thick piece of rubber to take up the space and it's been working fine for the past 10k. Nevertheless, I plan to restore the car to power steering because the manual rack is a chore when parking, etc.
Honda's failure to provide a more appropriate steering ratio in the manual rack strikes me as a design flaw.

You know, it's hard for me to remember now the precise provenance of the manual rack. I got it from a junkyard, and I think I requested one from a non-p/s wagon. I figured the measurements would be the same in all the wagons. But it's possible it came out of a sedan or 3-door.
But what I don't like is struggling to park and not being able to let anybody else drive my car since they probably couldn't cope with the high-effort steering. Not that it's too bad above 5 mph - actually, there's no real difference in effort between manual and power steering above 5 mph. But it can surprise someone who isn't used to it at low speeds.
If only Honda had properly designed a manual rack with a gear ratio that provided a little more leverage. These light cars really shouldn't require power steering.
Yes PS in my RT4WD- No AC
I prefer no PS in small cars. I like the space in the engine bay and less parts to maintain, less for the motor to operate.
