New to me but not to the site.....
today shakey and i traded my 4 door EX for his wagon. I have no idea on what i plan to do with the wagon right now shakey wanted the 4 door and i am getting a 4 door LX for free to rob the power options off and i figure im gunna swap it to obd1 anyways so i might as well start with a dual point..... I have a feeling that my rt4wd swap will end up in this car along with the low comp mini-me im building but well see...... for now im gunna keep it simple.

what a shit show the rear breaks were way out of adjustment and i cant just send a fella down the road like that so i went to take the drivers side drum off and bigger than shit one of the shoes comes off onto the ground..... i have a spare set we thought would work but they didnt so we ended up clamping the line and he was on his way.... thats what i get for doing the right thing haha well atleast he made it home. hope he brings new life to the 4 door.
why'd you decided to trade the wagon shakey?

yes thats a good note it does kinda sound like a subie but im not affraid of swapping her out with the motor i sold shakey to put in the car..... at first i thought he was nuts and kinda tried talking him out of it but after a few days of talking about it i kinda saw it from his point.... the EX looks a lil danky but it is an EX cruise, PW, PL infact on the way home he texted me to say the cruise was awsome. its not like its been through a half dozen ricers making half ass mods on it the car has potential i just didnt see it for myself.

Hell, I've got an EX with a b16 swap, rear discs, swaybar,blahblahblah...it's cool but I just can't make myself love it.
either way im stop rambling !... did a little body work on the 4 dr today left quarter panel wheel well is all white again no rusty rust temp fix for meow... also put the brakes back together stil cant get the e-brake to work though more investegating saturday...
on to a problem though...( sorry to thread jack matt but you might be able to help )
after doing the brakes and bleeding them three times.... the pedal is still mushy doesnt even start stopping until about half way down...what the fuzz
OH PS drum brakes suck !!! i havent done them in 4 years...forgot how retarted they were

thats a long ways away.
as for the ebrake keep adjusting the rears dont go so far as to make them hard to get the drum on but u want a lil resistance. when u have the drum off have someone gently pull the handle up too see if your getting movement dont go too far ive heard of guys blowing them apart springs flyin when they over expand them while the drum is off. and last but not least anti-seize anything thats metal that rubs together especially all the little e-break doo-hickies and your auto adjusters.
also 4dr is getting lowered tomorrow !
