So after I bought my wagon and got on this forum i am really excited to get started on building it and having fun. Although it is my DD so I am pretty much starting slow until I get my other car running again I thought I would start my build thread so here was wagon and stage 1...

And with only 111k miles I am cruisin everywhere easy. But I thought I would lower it first.

Then I saw everyones front lips and it definately helped with the look. But I am broke so I went to the back of our repo yard and found this old lip from I assume a volvo because this old man who lives at the yard loves volvos. I cut it in half and bondo/fiberglassed it to make it longer....looks shitty right now. but I think it is ok for my first time doing anything like that hahah. I have to touch it up and do some finishing things to it. I also wanna get my rear window deflector.

But that is it for now. Next i gotta get some rims and sand the whole wagon down and start looking at what direction I wanna take it as far as looks. Ima just do a D16 vtec swap and call it a day as far as motor. I gotta get some of my dents, rust, and DEFINATELY do some suspension work on it. Maybe and exhaust or something. :D

    Nice find. Good job on the lip. although I would be a little concerned if I scraped it it may crack! And rim wise I'm looking forward to see wat you got in mind.

    Yeah cuz right now I am just on the stock 13s and they are just tooo thin for me Im used to some 255s in the back lol now I have like 4 spares. And thanks it was alot harder than alot of these guys make it seem there are some hella good fabricators on here im just trying to take from what I read. I want some stock honda rims 4 it for now like some fat fives or something cuz it will be cheaper for now

    I like like 5 minutes away from qualcomm stadium, 15 from mission beach, 40 min south of Oside, 30 min north of Mexico, border of santee and mission valley in a place called Allied Gardens hahah

    looks good, I have that same lip on one of my wagons. car was a volvo 970. unknown year. um no bondo work or stretch required for mine though. I am up in Escondido, and TIMELESS WHITE lives about 4 miles from me. we got so many Wagos local we should do a SD mini meet.

    Really! There are that many wagons? I am so down for a mini meet o check out some sick wagons to get some ideas and some motivation. We can do it at like one of the beaches or something? Since summer is pretty much here.

    I just put a D16 Y8 in my wagon. Runs so good without vtec. Just need to get a jumper harness and I'm set! Good luck man! Looking forward to see your wagons progress as well as my own. Hah.

    HAHAH thats comedy. Hope to see some of you wagon owners around. Awww i want my d16z6 haha. oh so I already ripped the lip off....going up my driveway hahah just scraped right off. Now to repair. OMG I DO NOT UNDERSTAND DRUM BRAKES!!! I tried to change me wheel cylinder and uhhh how come my brake on that wheel is just stuck rubbing....what do i do?? I work on it from 11a to 11p no joke im so stumped over something so stupid!

    Thanks for watching! The project is due for a few wagons... I should Eibach meet "coverage" up in a week or two... I'm hoping enthusiasts finish the video feeling more informed and represented then all the "other vids that have been posted.

    So I was bored and I started work on primer gray-ing the whole car. But im pretty damn lazy so I figured I would just do both fenders then slowly make my way around the car. I also picked up some rims, Kosei K-1 Rims thought they would work well for now it was either that or some LS Meshs but went with the K-1. What do you guys think? Im gonna end up painting them black because the white would not go well with the direction im going so try and picture them black with the car painted gray lol.

    looks nice man. remember, primer will absorb moisture, so get it painted ASAP

    also, for the lip, get a drill and some zipties and do it up. if one breaks, you slap another zip tie in...no big deal

    Yeah we definately need to set up a summer mini meet. Yeah I got the wheels off the flats and repainted them because the were all curb rashed up...so they are finally on the car. yeah they are 16s and they fit well thanks for the compliments. I am really enjoying working on the wagon and I have seen many of you strip the interior down and clean it up so I think ill try that ahahah ill let you guys know how that goes becuase knowing me....
    1. Ill break something and
    2. Run into wayyy too many problems at the last minute

    So cool cant wait haha
