Re: My 1st Wagon is Hurt!!!!!!!!!!

Recently picked up my first wagon. Have owned 2 other hondas before, a 93 4 door which I sold to buy my 00 civic ex coupe. Since the 00 is boosted, I decided I needed a daily so I can continue to tinker with the ek/ej.
Found this on a local forum and was told $1250, no less. The owner would hardly return my replies, calls, and texts. I got enough info to rent a car dolly and drive across Florida to pick this bad boy up. After going for a test drive and making multiple out-of-state haggling calls via the moter-in-law (who had power of attorney) ended up paying $900
The car has 231k on the clock, but runs like a champ
has autotragic tranny
needs both cv axles
has one spot of rust on drivers rear panel
sitting on a pair of steelies in the rear
broken rear pass handle and missing window crank lever
destroyed hood hinges
broken rear wiper and hatch struts
and overall dirty and smelly
Took a good 2 1/2 hours of detailing the inside, but it does do its job. Came with a 12" punch and 600w kenwood, has a/c (only blows cold when driving), and has tint. So all of these make it more coozy to cruise around in than the project car.
Anyways here are some pics taken by my buddy with the accord, enjoy!

replaced the cv axles today, well I "supervised" as my friends handled it for me, just had inguinal hernia surgery and have to take it easy for a few weeks . found out the front struts are blown, couldn't even remove the lower ball joints since there was no resistance. had to remove the uppers and fanagle the axles out. also needs a drivers side outer tie rod. So, I need to get back to work soon to get these fixed lol
I'm from the space coast, Cocoa Beach / Merritt island, by the touristy stuff like Ron Jon's and the space center. Which reminds me I wanted to get a pic of my shuttle with the real shuttle blasting off, only live like >5 miles from the space center. Where do you call home in FL?
LOL, my buddies were drunk as mules that day, so I can't be held responsible for their actions. Thought it would be funny to "run from death"
Good ol' jacksonville...

possible to round people up and meet half way? maybe daytona for spring bling lol. but seriously I have a couple of friends that always want to cruise, but its impossible to line up schedules.
PS - where can I get a sweet pair of fogs like on your wagon??
Cowled/spaced hood 20mm so the wiper arm doesn't catch on the hood
Replaced passenger side light and marker, light was shot with a BB gun, seems to be a FL tradition lol
JDM seat cover yo!
Helped a buddy install a well in is backyard and was paid with this, stock ef struts with ebay coils, going to be doing some top hat extensions today, one question is how to remove the 2 studs in the top hat??
Amp was cutting in and out, pulled over and it smelled like electrical fire as the pos and neg wires were coming into contact, problem solved by replacing the pioneer amp with my class d kicker, so much louder and deeper bass now
Got this copilot, was my buddy after my hernia surgery, he keeps pretty quiet though.
Current issues, feel free to comment with advice:
Tach doesn't like to work sometimes in the AM, but after 15 mins works fine, was thinking ground or ignitor
Driver side corner doesn't work and passenger side is super dull and doesn't blink, was thinking grounds/wires?
Alternator is weak, starts at 12.3 volts and slowly rises to 13.9, this one is obvious, but am going to install my capacitor for the system in hopes it helps.
wood block and a hammer.
I think I have center caps for those Hammers (wheels) I had those in the 90s... I'd rock a set if I could find them.
my weldin' buddy picked them up today, so we'll see how they turn out, believe he'll heat them up for removal
If you can find the centercaps please PM me, but I get so many comments about them both, pos and neg, but I think they are growing on me and completely remind me of the 90s. Also have been told they look like knock off gsr fat fives.
HIDs
Painted passenger side trim
Top hats
more to come...
Would be awesome if the wheels were deeper, but oh well.
As for progress, I'm just trying to keep up with everyone on here!!
It needs paint so badly but thank you. I feel the same about cream wagons, test drove one that was 50% rust and I still wanted to drive it home, but not for $600 lol
especially that guy, you know...him...it...-ish
