Wat Motors Drop rite in?

okay so today i was told the the civic wagon 2wd has a different engine bay set up than the 4wd wagons.

is this true? what is exactly different about it?

mines and AUTO 4wd. i was told that a sohc vtec wont fit the motor will br tilted a little bit.
also the i would have to cut off my engine bay mounts and shift them a little to onvert it into a five spped.

any help?
