Wiring Questions

Im putting a d16z6 into my 91 wagon and im getting nothing but headaches reading up on the dpfi to mpfi. Ive got the engine harness off the d16. i dont have the harness that goes from the engine harness through the fire wall to the ecu. Do i need this????? If i do will one out of an automatic work? ive got a p28 ecu(hondata s300 to come). Another question is im running hi impedance injectors so im thinking i wont need the resistor box. or am i wrong? any help will be greatly appreciated im going nuts and have started to lose sleep over it. i have searched here, honda-tech, d-series, and a lot more for info but im still pulling my hair out.

Besides the MPFI wiring, if you're using a p28, you'll have to convert to OBD1. Use the z6 injectors and the injector plugs from the z6 harness with no resistor.
This is a pretty complicated swap wiring-wise. I recommend a store-bought solution, at least for the ECU jumper. You can do the basic MPFI swap wiring, then for about $100 get the obd0-obd1 jumper from Rywire or the like. It will include the subharness for everything you need to add for the obd1 conversion.
For that conversion harness is this what your talking about

OR...you can buy the whole shooting match, just plugnplay except for the same 4 wires you'll have to solder and repin.
