Newbie with questions
Foxee
Band Wagon
So glad to find this group! Years ago I had an 86 wagovan and loved it. Lately with gas prices I had started looking for another one and finally found one in my own town last Friday and snatched it up! It is a light blue and has 134,000 miles, 4 door hatchback automatic. I have several questions that I hope someone can help me with:
>
>1) the front of the glovebox is broken off and I need a new one. Where do I go to find one? Local salvage yards do not have Hondas. How do I find out if gloveboxes of OTHER model years will fit my 1988?
>
>2) Where to do for seat covers that will fit all the way around the bottom so they stay put when getting in and out.
>
>3) Other websites, places that have accessories (dash covers) and replacement parts for exterior, interior, engine, etc.
>
>4) How does one take a travel coffee mug in this vehicle, lol. Is there a gadget that will sit somewhere and hold a travel mug?
>
>Any other suggestions for upkeep, etc. I'm looking forward to advice. Thanks so much. Go, Wagovan !!

Here's a crappy pic of it. You can kinda of see it.
Again, welcome! Nice to see another lady on the board.
1> The glovebox is specific to blue 1988 and 1989 Wagons, and I'm pretty sure it's a junkyard only find. Try Majestic Honda's website. You can plug in your car's particulars and browse for parts. Their listing is pretty good about letting you know whether a part is available- if the part shown in the drawing isn't listed below with a price it's no longer available. There are other, similar sites but that's a good one to start with.
2> I've used some covers from WallyWorld, Bell brand that I like.
3> junkyard is what I use
4> search for cupholder mod thread
Bam said it alll...
Fab something for those things...
