Sputtering When not Warmed up?

So when I start my wagon and accelerate it hesitates and sputters really terribly. But after it gets to running temp, it clears up and doesn't do it anymore. I wanna say it is misfiring but it clears up after it warms up. I've ran several bottles of injector cleaner(gum out) and even had wally world do their drip fuel injector cleaner on it. It seemed to have a decent effect on it, but that may have just been temporary, or even a placebo?

What could be causing this? If I start it up in the morning and just take off it spits and sputters pretty violently. Anyone else had this problem, could it be my dizzy going bad? Need new injectors? Any help would be amazing guys, thanks!

Actually I have diagnosed it yet, but yes I get a code every now and then. After it warms up usually I get a code.... I need to check that code. *Slaps forehead

I'm guessing IAT sensor (code 10).

Sounds good guys, I'll run a diagnostic today after my Cal 2 test. Gotta study and knock that out first

I just read my code and it gave me a 16, fuel injector problem.

So should i just buy new injectors and call it a day?

I've seen this code a few times, and it was never an injector. Verify injector grounds, check ECT sensor (the 2-wire one)

I saw that one still plugged up, the single wire one was the loose one. I'll mess with it, I bet your right about that sensor just being dead.

EDIT: After reading the Codes write up, I guarantee it's the ECT. I'll see what i can do about replacing it. Thanks guys for all the help.

Well I put the stock air box back on, plus all the stock plumbing. Seems to run a little better then before. We shall see over the next few days.
