What is this ECU for?

Is this an ECU for the auto climate control?

I haven't seen these in any JDM CRX's that I've had....?

    Automatic seat belts?

I remember there being a seat belt ecu under the HVAC controls in my old 90. Can't remember if it looks like that or not...

nah, had the sensor for seatbelt detection, that was it

part number? or at least a better pic of the label?

I don't think it has to do with the climate control. Doesn't look like ABS stuff (not sure what car you got it from either)

Marc has already said that his car didn't have automatic seatbelts. None of the Wagons in Canada had them either.

marc, did this wagon have a box under the drivers seat? usdm automatics had a box under there, so if you didnt, it may be that box just relocated.

I have the same box to the left of my steering column on my 4 door manual.
  • I would guess it is the computer for the automatic tranny.
