The PAC (Pacific Area Crew)

It's official.

northwest_war_wagon and I have started a crew. What we hope will become a network of local 'wagoneers'. The idea is to start a union of Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia wagon drivers that can help support one another. Whether it be organizing and participating in local events. Or working together through commerce (because we all know what it's like to look for parts).

PAC is an acronym meaning 'Pacific Area Crew'. This is a wagon only crew.

If you wish to be a part of this network, please contact me via PM with the proper (look below) information, and a good picture. Then you will be added to post #1. That's it! PM's without a good picture, or information- will be ignored!

This is the starting point.

(if at any point a member wants to be removed, or have pic/info changed- contact Charb)

ScallyWag, your name's not really Trev, is it?
  • Yup. Trevor. It means "Great House" in Welsh, or so I've read. You too huh?
  • bam-bambam-bam Council Member
    Mine's Treville.
  • Wha? Crazy... here I thought all Trevs led to Trevor

I get that all the time.

My granddad's best friend growing up was Robert de Treville Lawrence III, grandson of a Confederate general that settled here in Marietta after the war. Dad was named for him, I was named for Dad, voila!
  • Wish I had a cool name story :( I think my parents chose my name from a book

  • From: TougeNW.com,

I thought this would be a good chance for some, if not most, of the PAC to get together and watch some drifting and autox. These are also not competing events to begin with. They will basically be considered "fun runs" for people to have fun and basically learn how to drive there car. Please let me know if you'd like to spectate either in this thread or a PM would be great too.

JUST A NOTE, THIS IS A CLOSED EVENT FOR PARTICIPATION, AS THIS IS OUR FIRST EVENT AS AN ORGANIZATION AND WILL BE LEARNING HOW TO SETUP AND RUN EVENTS. Our 4th event and after will be open for participation.
    For more info: http://www.TougeNW.ORG

    Pre-Registration to Spectate
(sounds funny I know but for our first few events we need a rough idea of who is coming)

    [Registration opens:] April 9th

    [Price:] We offer two packages.
Day Pass: $10 for a 1 day pass, you will get a "return" slip so if you come a second day it is $5. Pit Passes are an additional $5 (per-day)
Event Pass: $25 for all 3 days, free "dry" camping, 3 day pit pass.
    (subject to change)

    Open Spectating Slots: 20
(yes very low we know, but we are not ready for a massive amount for our first few events)

[Rules and Regulations] (these will be posted upon entering and you will be required to read them before you sign the waiver)

    * You will be required to sign a Liability Waiver at time of entering/registration. Failure to sign waiver will result in the in-ability to enter the event.

    * When vehicles are on the track you may not enter the "walkway" to the pit area, you must wait for a worker/flagger to signal and give you the ok.

    * Pit Passes are required to enter the driver pit area.

    * Alcohol is not permitted at the event. You will not get a warning, you will not get a refund, you will be expelled from the event.

    * Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian, and said parties MUST fill out the minor liability waiver.

    * Dry Campground Access is available ONLY to those who have paid for the Weekend event pass.

[AGAIN THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE]
  • We currently have 14 more spectating slots open.
  • Everything on the TougeNW site is broken or missing. FAIL!

We just switched to VBulletin from phpbb. So there could be a small issue but the link should work, the .com and the .org

  • I can't make it, but BUMP for a good event and BUMP for the PAC reaching page 2 soon!
  • Found some old-ish pics on my HD of my vacation to Savary Island (BC) last year... including these of a fairly mint (for its age) wagon, sitting ala "found in a farmers barn" style.... I am digging the tan/green color scheme and the stripes.... I coulda posted in Multimedia, but thought I'd BUMP the PAC instead (it IS in the Pacific Area, after all  .... OldSkool these pics are dedicated to you and your recent WOM win!
